It's right up the concen torrent taste alley this series - I'm pretty sure the BBC piad him a right whack of wodge to create it - but the guy is a modern day media genius in my book....
So if anyone can use a VPN [if not in England] and hi tech media grabber via the BBC Iplayer site/system, please grab it. I'll have a go if not once I've awtched all 6 or whatever episodes...
When power begins to shift in society, everything becomes unstable, exciting and frightening. Adam Curtis’ new films tell the dramatic story of what it was like to live through the extraordinary change in Britain over the past forty years. It wasn’t just the decline of political power it was also a seismic shift in consciousness in Britain at the end of the 20th century.

Close timing to my post...
Great minds think alike y'see...
Even with a HUGE polluted ocean called the Atlantic between us...

My trick is a private movie tracker that usually has almost everything. Thankfully it had already been ripped, and I can just drop it onto my seedbox etc.
I haven't seen it yet, but I am tempted, even though I am not British who grew up in the 70s and 80s. It could still appeal to anyone, especially Adam Curtis fans...
Adam Curtis is a genius....
You know why??
Cos unlike most gobshite's in the "alternative" scene - he's realised over the years that being
- Humble
and even moreso
-Subtle
...is the name of the game.
And of course weave humour into things also.
