Thank you.
I am not sure where to find his old videos - it looks like YouTube might be the best source for those now, it's just a matter of making their search algorithm work for you. They changed it in the past couple years so it's harder to get direct hits for keywords, I think because people are always searching for pirated shows and movies, but now their search just sucks, but somewhere in the lists are lots of videos more connected to the search query keywords.
Once again you rock, sir. Here are a bunch of them:
Bobby Hemmit Full Lectures
Thanks! I need to do a bunch of new YouTube searches to get my recommended list algorithm out of an endless sea of relaxation/ASMR videos.
p.s. I think the link to the Bobby Hemmit YouTube videos might be broken.
Stop breaking things. Your fault!
Thanks, YT is definitely pruning results as you can use other search engine indexes and they'll return stuff that they don't.
Either way I think BH really put a lot of amazing content out there so if anyone has rips please share them. Anyone else noticed that the OGs were way more solid and real with the organic underground before it became digital? Bobby spoke on some stuff then that most dismissed out of hand but is very close to what is currently happening to the masses.
Also if anyone has a more effective way of searching YT like how altavista used to be that indexed absolutely everything and let you trim the choice could you share it? You can literally type in the title of a video and if it doesn't want to show you it won't. A lot of old conspiracy content from the olden days is still on there but they obviously know whats up in that respect.
If you have the link you can access it but good luck trying to find it. Look at the link, nothing over 10 years old. It could be due to HD and nothing more but anyone who was around during the mid 2000s knows that it was tinfoil talk (and full movie piracy) that made youtube what it is.
I've given up trusting YT for anything but harmless "NPC safe" stuff, although as you point out a lot is still there, just impossible to find.
It's frustrating when you post a comment that they delete within seconds. It's the worst it's ever been. A lot of people complain about it but WTF can you do except not bother commenting at all anymore? That is what they want. The dark state wants to control their NPCs at all cost. Without them they'd be minced.
Too true. Aaah the good old days before the "smart" phone brought every NPC online...
I have been using YouTube since 2007 or something, on and off, it comes up for things a lot, even now, but a few years ago the search results were almost as exact as Google. I always searched for new Ghost Adventures episodes, before I had Discovery+, and typed in the season date and episode number, and I always got the exact video upload. At some point in the past few years, those exact results have been technologically muddled, and instead some other type of algorithmic and generic search results show up, never an exact word for word keyword result.
I still pay $15 a month for YouTube Premium, but that's mostly just because I hate the ads, when I do use it - maybe for an average of 15 minutes a day, longer on some days, maybe an hour or two at most. As other social media, I maintain a recommended feed to fish the waters for a limited time, just enough to see what's going on out there, based on my subscriptions etc. I always want to know who has been on JRE and other shows that I don't normally pay attention to on a regular basis, just to have an idea what is going on. Sites like ConCen can help multiply that overall online research effect as well...
