A Clockwork Shining: Kubrick's Odyssey 3
Stanley Kubrick's The Shining is one of the most discussed films in Cinema History. What is it really about? A Clockwork Shining puts forth the idea that the film is really about Mind Control and how we are manipulated by larger forces.

x265
If anybody feels like shrinking this, I can add it to a Kubrick's Odyssey Trilogy pack and reupload here later.
The first one is available as an xvid .avi or NTSC/DVD5, the second one is a really small .mkv, and this one is a 1080, but if they are all small sized, I think the low bandwidth, small hard-drive people will appreciate that more...

I can't wait to see this. Why
I can't wait to see this. Why does it have to appear when I'm stuck in hospital and have no access to my BitTorrent server?
You could install a client on
You could install a client on your phone/laptop (ratios aren't a problem here), or is bandwidth the issue? If so, try the x265 720p version.
I have unjalibroken iPad and
I have unjalibroken iPad and iPhone - I'll just have to be patient.
Easy.
I just tested this on my iPhone 12 mini and it worked fine:
Go in the App Store, install VLC and “ish”.
Open ish and type:
apk add rtorrent
Then type:
rtorrent https://concen.org/sites/default/files/torrents/AClockworkShiningKubrick...
This will download the x265 copy. Don’t worry about torrenting on the hospital connection or your 4G. No-one is scanning ConCen for copyright torrents.
When it’s finished, press ^ on the ish keyboard for Ctrl and press q to quit rtorrent.
Now open VLC and find the Local Files -> ish -> root
You should see your download and it should play fine.
Thanks for the advice.
Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, I was barely able to type let alone get down with anything technical. VLC had come up when I searched the App Store for BitTorrent but I couldn't figure out what to do - now I have a better idea, thanks.
That all said, I am now home but still far from recovered but I can access my NAS server so will do what I know.
Afaik
This is the only way to BitTorrent on iPhone currently.
Hope you get better soon and
Hope you get better soon and come home. Hospitals aren't the greatest. I was in an ER hallway for 4 days once. It wasn't fun.
I might force myself to watch the actual The Shining movie first, or maybe after, I see this new documentary about it.
You've never seen The Shining
You've never seen The Shining?
Not for at least 2 decades!
Not for at least 2 decades! LOL I don't think I was ever super hip to it. I saw A Clockwork Orange once or twice, but I don't remember many of the other ones.
Thanks. Been in intensive
Thanks. Been in intensive care and can't really walk at the moment - I could be in another week at least.
What phone
What hardware are we dealing with?
Do you have a charger and headphones?
We can set you up with downloads. Have you got Dropbox or similar?
Hospitals
I can't disagree with you at all. It was interesting to see the freak show at first when I came out of a week long coma and a few days on a quieter ward but after the last three nights without proper sleep, I was glad that they sent me home last night. I've got a long way to go but being at home helps.
The one main reason I was
The one main reason I was stuck in an ER hallway for 4 days was because the psych ward was full! :S
I am glad you are home now, it's just a million times more comfortable. As long as you have the proper care - it sounds like some sort of big accident happened! :o
sweet!
I tried everything I could to watch this here in Canada (short of things smart people do).
Huge kudos and thanks for getting us this!
You're welcome
Me too. The primevideo.com system is tied in to credit/debit ways of paying, which makes one outside the US restricted. But for those that are able to use Amazon.com gift cards as a way of payment, they are able to access that content...
