IN LIMBO is a documentary essay that questions the world of memory that we are all building, through the everyday digitization of our lives and our environment. The voice of a mysterious spirit (embodied by Nancy Huston) wakes up in the maze of data centers which makes up the global network. As though there were nothing left on Earth but this huge machine, still running. Diving into her memory, she is fascinated by the strange life that lies within, inhabited by ghostly characters (the Internet's founding fathers, Google CEOs, digital librarians, etc). Enchanted by the promises of this world, she abandons herself into it. Pure soul, she wanders through this after-life, attempting to once more experience the essence of nostalgia.

How do you find all the slightly whacky but rare docu's?!
I recently set up an AI agent im testing out to let me know when new docus are out of a certain content type - it's not doing great so far.
maybe it's back to AI infant skool for it.

There's this private torrent
There's this private torrent tracker devoted to movies, documentaries, short films, animation, stand-up comedy, musicals, concerts, nature specials, and of course, foreign and independent etc. It's called PassThePopcorn - it used to be fairly easy to get an invite over a decade ago, for people involved with seedboxes and torrenting. It's harder to get on now. But they have pretty much everything. So I usually just click the documentary tag for searches and do an empty query and hit enter, and then every recent to older upload of documentaries shows up, and I just scroll through them looking for anything good. It's a little bit like mining for gold! :o

any tips on getting an invite TC00?
Only members with 50 or more
Only members with 50 or more original uploads get invite privileges - and even then, I am not sure how many. Also, people that do crypto donations get 1 or 2 invites. I don't have any myself...

Yeah, an empty query search
Yeah, an empty query search will give you a list of every documentary currently uploaded to the site. There's usually so many, I can't keep up with them all. So there's plenty there I haven't found yet. PTP does have certain tags I could search for though.
If you are able to upload the doc you referred to, I am sure it would be welcome here. I could probably get you an invite to some other private trackers. I think the only thing you might need to do is just seed stuff for as long as you can to build up some ratio.

I'm ok for invites - I assume the spirits will alert me to any decent docs etc - even if it's monts later... life's too complex at the moment to be worried about grabbing new releases on day #1 ;-)
NB: My ratio is bad as I live in a region with MORE UFO Lightships than telecomms transmission towers OR roads dug up to bury phibre optik... thus my upload speeds are set at 10% of download - so seeding is a joke..
