The growth of the world's narcotics trafficking system has mirrored the growth of the world's economic system in many surprising ways over the past two-and-a-half centuries. Currently, illicit drug production and usage runs rampant throughout the world, with the health of humankind suffering as a consequence, with no apparent end to illicit, addictive drug sales in sight.

Part 1: The Era of Empires

Drug trafficking was not invented by a mafia but by the European colonial powers in the 19th century. Opium use spread throughout Asia, promoted by colonial powers. Meanwhile, the western pharmaceutical industry was developing some miraculous products, such as morphine, cocaine, and heroin.

Addiction became a global scourge, and prohibition gradually became the norm. But outlawing these substances at the beginning of the 20th century gave rise to the first drug-trafficking networks, which often sought to operate under state protection, in Mexico, France and China…

These networks underwent unprecedented growth during the Cold War, when secret services used the drug trade as a geopolitical instrument. The United States paid the price for this: In 1970, one third of their troops in Vietnam were addicted to heroin. A year later, in an historic speech, President Richard Nixon launched the war on drugs.

Part 2: Era of the Drug Lords

The first world power goes to war against drugs: the United States strikes hard. But the drug trade never dies. It moves, transforms, adapts. As the war on drugs progresses around the world, a new generation of drug lords emerged at the end of the 1970s, more powerful than ever. These criminals were not only in it for the money; they also wanted power.

Pablo Escobar was the most notorious, but there was also Toto Riina in Sicily, Khun Sa in the Golden Triangle, and Felix Gallardo in Mexico, all of whom changed the destinies of their respective territories by taking drug trafficking to a global scale. They defied states and threatened the powers-that-be. It took almost 20 years for states to get organized and come up with strategies to bring down the drug barons.

Part 3: The Lost Territories

The third episode opens on a world of drug trafficking that has been fragmented by the efforts of the police. Dealers have now changed; invisibility is their chief weapon.
The trade has shifted to areas beyond law-and-order, like war zones in Afghanistan or areas with guerilla activity like Colombia. Designer drugs, which are easy to manufacture and conceal, play a key role in the transformation of the traffic.

In Mexico, the cartels have dragged the whole country into a merciless spiral of violence – wherever one looks, the toll of the war on drugs makes for grim reading. Synthetic drugs, which are easy to manufacture and conceal, herald the fourth generation to come: traffickers in white coats. This poses the question: Is it time to legalize drugs, radically changing the current situation and perhaps the way we perceive them?

Very interesting series and great topic.

According to some recent whistleblower testimony from a National Press Club event on the subject of UFOs, a lot of the so-called UFO crafts are actually super top secret man-made anti-gravitic craft, that have been spotted in remote areas off-loading drugs and weapons (please disregard Dr. Steven Greer if that offends anybody LOL):

If anyone remembers the military scandal in the 1980s, called "Iran-Contra", it was revealed that the military and CIA were heavily involved with cocaine and heroin trafficking, and moneys from said clandestine operations thus funded them and kept them going. Note that nobody was ever sentenced or jailed for any of those crimes, and therefore it can be concluded that such covert operations continue to exist in the present day as well...

If you're pretty well read in UFO literature and its merging with terrestrial power systems you can find rare references to this - I've not heard Greer mention it.
I've had the "above government" [as I've long called it] role in this area studied for decades.

If they were using GI bodies and aircraft to bring smack back from that region THEN - plus in the 1980s there was use of MISSILEs being used to move cocaine around the world between military bases...
- try demanding to inspect one of those for contraband... !
=
But more importantly is a long term project I'm working on in-between keeping a roof over my head - and that's the idiotic equation which each national govt uses to suggest whats coming into the country...
ie: Customs seize 10% of all narcotics - which means we know that X amount is entering the nation.
- Well this is a **fake equation** if you're missing the main route of entry.
- Imagine the move to unacknowledged, untraceable vehicles.... :-p ?!
And this is borne out by the addictive chaos on our streets in western nations.

It definitely makes me re-think history, as well as at least 40-50% of what we call the UFO phenomenon. Even the invisible-to-radar cases, like in Mexico back in 2011 or so, could actually be advanced man-made craft that most would instinctively assume to be alien. Of course, there could be some overlap...

I tried clicking on your Nick Pope threads - two posted by accident, but I am getting the Mr. Bean error message, unfortunately.

I get mr Bean too...

And I spent an hour creating the humble forum post explaining the Nick Pope and my CE5 early material and why It'd be good to get long term views on the footage...

I started to think that ConCen itself is involved in a CONSPIRACY to maintain the status quo on the cosmic conumdrum... :-o

Fucking illuminati pranksters everywhere -
=

I just had another even further down the line idea -

What about if a military or above govt craft could operate with ZERO human beings to drop smack and coke off ALL round the whirrled ?! :-o ?

Well it's here - and this is not even the unacknowledged UFO type craft area....
