Follows the Duke & Duchess Of Windsor as they take up residency in the Bahamas following Edward's appointment as The Governor of the island.
The story of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor's little-known years in the Caribbean during the Second World War, where as colonial governor and wife it was hoped they would be far from danger and the machinations of German agents in Europe. Using British government and FBI documents, this film uncovers in detail the Windsors' disastrous stay in the Bahamas, which included scandals of extravagant spending, prejudice, murder and deadly race riots.
