In the year 2000, in a war barely noticed outside Yugoslavia, the indicted war criminal Slobodan Milosevic fought to hold power. He controlled a battle-hardened army, a tough police force, and most of the news media. But he underestimated his opponents, led by a student movement called Otpor! (‘resistance’), who attacked the regime with ridicule, rock music, and a willingness to be arrested. Their courage and audacity inspired others to overcome their fear and join the fight.
Otpor! students were the shock troops in what became an army of human rights and pro-democracy activists who systematically undermined police and army loyalty to Milosevic and forced him to call early elections. When Milosevic refused to accept his defeat at the polls, the people responded with a general strike. As normal life ground to a halt, Serbs by the hundreds of thousands descended on the capital on October 5 to seize the parliament in a dramatic triumph for democracy. Milosevic was arrested and extradited to the Hague to stand trial for crimes against humanity in June 2001.

it was a fuckish time there with atrocities all over the place and mass graves aplenty including graves with no-one over 14 years old.

My [almost] first hand knowledge of why Serbia/Yugoslavia was...
...repeatedly targeted by a whole network of nations.
OK - so i'm virtually fully English / Celtic - with my mum having some weird DNA element of Finnish in addition. maybe that's a side issue - but it kind of links in here to my wider point.
Why am i saying all this? - Because I virtually married into a network of Serbian genetics - with a very weird and complex background. Mostly because I've learned a lot of our CURRENT wars are related to ancient genetics [see Israel for an obvious and not particularly interesting example in my opinion]. Also My partners grandfather owned a cafe which the family allowed Germans into in WW2 quote "because they were courtious and civilised" - for food etc. For this, at wars end - the zombie Bolshevik higher level commisar Red Army politico types ordered several male members of the family to be taken out and shot. After that - all their property was split and given out to friends of the Reds.
Add to this - we now know that Serbia was double crossed in ww2.
By day the allies pretended to work with them and the Serbs/Yugoslavs assisted [for example] downed British and American pilots over their land - to be safely looked after and returned to their allied countries. But at a certain point in the war - parts of Yugoslavia were HEAVILY BOMBED at night - by the same Euro and US "allies" who pretended to be friends with them at the same time. This was partially linked to the Vatican - but that's another tangent.
Post ww2 - Serbia gave us Tesla but additionally under Tito Yugoslavia had a hardly known semi secret, advanced space program . Also the post war years found confirmed archeological evidence of their older cultures links to an ancient, intelligent civilisation called "the Vinca".
These are just a few points as to why a VAST military and media psy-op was done during the Clinton and Blair era on Serbia itself - claiming Serbs tore down Muslim churches and raped Muslim women. We NEITHER of these facts are true. Serbs are Rusian/Greek orthodox olde whirrldee religion and their males wouldn't carry out the latter - plus the two had lived together in many area for centuries.
The balkans War and bombing of Serbia/Belgrade was part of a wider agenda. One of these elements - but not the only one is that the Bush/British cabal were using ALBANIANS and more so Kosovo - as a mass shipment point for opioid poppy product from Afghanistan - the Serbs knew of this and refused to let this policy accelerate in their region. But there's more also.
I may find a space on the main forum to write what i've learned in the last decade or two on this topic - but my god was it a full on, experiemental full war false flag - COMPLETE with imported tropps regularly using sniper rounds from rooftops then claiming to be the Serbian army.
Not saying it was all one way - war and greed make c*nts out of the best of us - but don't buy the historical hype.
Oh - and the ITV famous broadcast on the Jasonavich "concentration camp" - take a look at that and you'll see a microcosm example of the wider psy-op that took place - ;-)
