How American mercenaries became embroiled in Yemen's civil war
Yemen’s nine year-long civil war has led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands and created one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises. An investigation by BBC Arabic Investigations finds evidence that the UAE has been funding a method of covert warfare in southern Yemen – assassinating those who have spoken out against the UAE’s operations in the country. This wave of assassinations was kicked off in 2015 by a band of former American Special Forces operatives turned mercenaries. These extra-judicial killings, conducted in the name of counterterrorism, continue to this day.

believing the US or Euro military intel on how crap Russia is
Better to be a macho idiot in Yemen than experience one month of battles with Russia in Ukraine and hastily try to run back to your home nation with losing face... ;-)
...although I'm sure many foreign mercs who had zero geopolitical awareness ALSO lost face literally if in the region of one of Russias artillery onslaughts... they are the true experts of that type of warfare... being on the other end is horrific and will probably scar you for life mentally too.

I have a couple of old muckers who have been there fighting for the ukraine since not long after they started their International Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukraine.
If putin is so fantastic... why not move to Russia???? or do you like somewhat more freedoms than they get in Russia?
You obviously know fuck all about how well the International Legion is doing. They have ex special forces from all over that served in NATO and some non NATO places. The two chaps i served with are doing some outstanding recon and also teaching it there.
It would be hilarious to see you in basic training never mind any active service. you'd shit your pants guaranteed and it would be beyond fucking funny.
When they have finished their tour they are doing a documentary as they filmed everywhere they go.
They , like me have their city and guild in photography/AV tech from JSOP (now DFE).
I imagine they know a fucik ton more than you do coz, you know, they are actually there :-)
