I've looked through a telescope.

Venus was the most alien iridescent green. Amazing. Like no colour I've ever seen on Earth.

I'm no flearther but also let's not pretend they are taking purely optical images either. They are composite shots taken from the infrared then rendered into the optical range.

LOL I never said they were otpical images. I said FLERFs would harp on about CGI

Gotcha. Yea they can't grasp reality whatsoever. That's true.

They also add colours that aren't there, and enhance existing colours, to make the images much more beautiful than reality. It's always bothered me that they aren't more forthcoming about that.

A lot of the images taken by astronauts on the moon are composites. One famous photo is a composite of an astronaut standing on a relatively flat surface in front of a mountainous background taken from another photo.
