This torrent replaces the torrent at:
https://concen.org/node/43547
All you need to do is save this torrent to the same directory, it should all work nice, replacing the three files starting with "2010..."

- I've added a MUCH better copy of the earliest documentary. Hundreds of extra pixels, SVT logo removed and subtitles too.

"There can be no genuine revolution without singing" - Julian Assange. A quote that I feel gives you an idea of what is at the heart of this man.

17h20m of Assange documentaries and interviews.

I’m posting this because there seems to be a general lack of clue in how important Julian Assange, and his freedom, is to freedom of the press, and our future.

Maybe not in people here, but generally - which is why I’ve re-encoded these movies in a shareable form.

It’s presented here as:
Originals (17GB) - in a wide range of formats up to 1080p where possible
Compact Edition (4GB) - encoded into x265 for best quality/space-saving
Sharing Edition (2.2GB) - encoded into 480p x264 for sharing on Bitchute, Telegram, etc

Here are a few brief reviews of what I managed to properly watch before uploading. In general, the earlier documentaries are more about the mission of Wikileaks and the resistance they’ve suffered, the later ones are more about the illegal incarceration of Assange.

The main folder is independent documentaries, separate folders for broadcast television documentaries, interviews and extras.

WikiRebels (2010)
This is excellent, it’s actually Swedish public television but I included it since it’s phenomenal. It’s very fair and seems to understand Wikileaks. It clearly exposes the foul brutality of the American helicopter shooting up a Reuters journalist and a van containing children, which becomes a big part of the driving force behind Wikileaks.

Ithaka (2022)
The most up-to-date documentary, this is a rip from Australian broadcast TV in two parts but is a pro-media-freedom documentary with a cinematic release.
It doesn’t contain much Julian in his own words, mostly because he’s behind bars.

Julian Assange and MK-Ultra (Extras)
Interesting as it starts by covering that Assange grew up in an Australian cult called “The Family”. No other sources seem to mention this, for some reason.

Notable Omissions:
I would have included Fifth Estate (2013) but it’s against Concen’s No-Hollywood Rule, which is an appropriate and fair and just rule. The movie is easy to find from the usual sources (I mean Amazon, Apple TV, etc, of course).

Another excluded drama is “Underground - The Julian Assange Story” (2012). It’s an Australian TV drama production… um… I mean, watch it if you want. It’s very TV-movie-of-the-week. It has it’s moments. How true-to-life it is, I don’t know. Not very, I shouldn’t think. Again includes a rare mention of The Family.
