As I've been watching "The Deep End" I've been inspired to collect other information on Teal Swan.

This has also coincided with a 3-hour interview with a childhood friend of Teal's, disputing her claims of Satanic child abuse.

Included:
The Deep End - 4 episode documentary from Hulu Freeform
Open Shadow - older fairly pro-Teal documentary
Gaia Open Minds interview with Teal
VICE True Believers coverage of Teal's group as a cult
Idaho News 6 - On Your Side interviews with Teal

I've also included The Gateway podcast from Gizmodo, which is a very good listen that I thought was fair and balanced, and several other podcasts including the childhood friend mentioned above.

Comments

Her memories of Satanic abuse are clearly invented, but she still talks an enormous amount of sense about emotions, relationships, etc.

So I defend her right to run a cult if she wants to.

However the Deep End and the rest of this coverage really helped me understand where she's coming from.

Would love to see some of her premium workshops.

I had never heard of Teal Swan until you mentioned her and requested the documentary 'Open Shadow'. I was watching it a while back and didn't know what to think of the SRA claims, but it was discussed quite in-depth in the film and made to look genuine. I never would have thought to question her authenticity in that regard. But I guess she could have some form of schizophrenia or something along those lines...

these "reviews" and "documentaries" seem like hit pieces. Who is scare of this woman so much they'd go to all this trouble? Is there something corrupt, dark, evil and perverted within the psychiatric industry petrified that wounded people could help other wounded people without them profiting from it or losing their control thru drugs?
If hell was real, psychiatrists would be on at least the 5th or 6th level.

She’s very insightful, for sure.

something about her that sounds genuine, but don't know if I'd get along with her in real life. Certainly wouldn't endorse her to anyone except those already in denial and rebellion to the psychiatric industry.
