INTRODUCTION
Since the beginning of time man has questioned his own existence and tried to make sense out of it. Who are we and where have we come from are questions that mankind has grappled with for millennia. There was a time when such questions were not mysteries but since after the time of the Tower of Babel the answers to such questions have become seemingly lost. It is this very mystery of our origins that gave rise to the famous ‘mystery’ schools that began in ancient Babylon and spread to Egypt, India, Greece and Rome and continue even unto this very day. The very mysteries that the initiates are introduced to are related to our origins and the true history and nature of the cosmos. These mysteries were no mysteries to our first fathers from Adam to Noah but knowledge became cloaked after the Tower of Babel and has since been cryptically passed on through these so-called mystery schools. Though these modern day Mystery Babylon schools and secret societies may claim that they hold the keys to knowledge the fact of the matter is that God has given us all the ability to know and has also made all knowledge accessible to us through his Word, the Holy Bible. The Bible is a book of history and the only book of history that stretches from the infinite past to the infinite future. There are other records such as the sacred texts of various cultures that have also recorded the history of the Earth’s past and that of our solar system and of stars and other heavenly bodies. These records are not definitive nor necessarily accurate but nonetheless they contain a wealth of information that can help us in retracing ancient history and pre-history, that is the history that extends beyond the history recorded by modern man that goes back a mere 5 or 6000 years. In this series on the Chronology of Creation I will explore creation myths as recorded in the mythologies of various cultures as well as offer a detailed study of the account and chronology of creation as recorded in the pages of the Bible. By studying and comparing various myths as well as the creation account of the Bible it will become apparent that mythologies are not all fiction but based on certain facts that are recorded in scripture. In this series the following topics will be explored:

From a study of scripture and mythology it becomes apparent that the Earth and the Universe are far older than is commonly assumed and have a very ancient history that spans eons.Although claimed by many so-called ‘Christians’ that the Universe is only 6000 or so years old, this claim is not validated by scripture, by mythology or even by fossil and geological evidence unearthed over the past two centuries.As this study progresses it will become apparent that INTELLIGENCE precedes all creation and intelligent created life precedes the cosmos itself. It will be evident that the planets and other heavenly bodies were designed and created to be inhabited not to be empty wastelands. Scripture and mythological history reveal a rich vibrant past with life exploding across the Universe. There was a time in the ancient past when technologically advanced very high civilizations flourished throughout the cosmos and intergalactic and interplanetary travel was more common than intercontinental travel today. This is where the theory of an Expanding Universe comes from; there truly was a time when the Universe was expanding with life spreading outwards from a central point like ripples in a pond. There truly was a golden age with no death or disease or darkness in the Universe. Order came first not chaos although there have been several ages of chaos of various lengths in the distant and not so distant past.

CHAOS OUT OF ORDER: There came a time in the dim distant past when a dark shadow appeared that spread across the galaxies and solar systems bringing death and destruction on a true ‘Star Wars’ scale. This was the time of the beginning of CHAOS out of ORDER. Most mythologies trace the origin of all things to this time of chaos but not so the bible. The chronology of most mythologies begins with this time of chaos when their gods were birthed and they brought order out of chaos. There is sufficient and undeniable evidence that destruction on a cosmic scale has occurred in some remote past both on Earth and in our solar system and chaos reigned for unknown lengths of time. Such destructions are generally dismissed as natural disasters such as asteroids bombarding the Earth and other planets like Mars and even the Moon. The scars of such destruction are to be seen on Earth as well as the Moon and also on Mars. However scripture and mythology point more towards an ‘unnatural’ explanation of such destructive events in our past through use of nuclear and ‘death star’ like weaponry that led to annihilation of life at least on the surface of the Earth; and possibly all life on other planets like Mars. Both scripture and mythology are opposed to the ‘random’ theory of Earth and cosmic catastrophes through natural processes. According to scripture and mythology Terrestrial and Universal creation and destruction are always results of intelligent interventions by non-human powers be it God or gods.

The Bible is the only book in the world that covers the history of all of creation from beginning to the end. It is the only book that covers all of our past, the present and the future. The book of Genesis is the Alpha or beginning and the book of Revelation is the Omega or end and culmination of the ages. All mythology is based on events of the past involving our Earth and the heavens. Mythologies are historical records that have a built in bias that makes these records flawed. Nonetheless there is much historical information that can be gleaned from these ancient stories and by comparing it to other evidence and to scripture we can formulate a fairly accurate picture of the past histories of the cosmos and of man. Our existence may seemingly be a mystery but if we adorn our sleuthing hats and dig deep there is plenty of information available that we can begin to see the big picture and as the picture becomes clear it becomes clearer that there indeed is an artist who has painted a landscape that may be seemingly flawed but that is only because we do not yet see the finished picture. The magnificence and the perfection of this landscape will become apparent in the age to come but what is already clear is that all the previous ages of which there have been many have served the purposes of God to bring us to this age of perfection and immortality that lies just ahead.

Paul Sandhu returns to the Threshing Floor to begin a new series of investigation into the deepest mysteries of prehistory and the origins of the kingdoms of dark power.
