now the WHO want to ban e-cigs due to "passive smoking " concerns and other health related crap.
Now as we know the e-cig liquid is something that pretty much ALL OF US have inhaled ,whether you are an ecig smoker or not......
yup it's the same vegetable based oily stuff that is used in smoke and mist machines..
Thje only difference being... nicotine... mind you some of the liquids just come with flavourings but no nicotine fpor use by those taking the reduction method of nicotine cessation.
So let's think about it.... the food flavouring is already tested as SAFE as it's a food additive.
Nicotine.... well it's very well tested and known about and isn't a carcinogen.....
the vape liquid..... ban that in workplaces and you'll also have to make theatres, clubs and pubs then...... exact same stuff and at times exact even down to the food flavouring (a club in Edinburgh is know for a different flavour of smoke from the machines every weekend... so ban that.
According to one researcher an e-cig with nicotine is the equivalent to a coffee in anything that it does to the body BBC article here with scienetist saying exactly that ,it's the first video as you scroll down.
I reckon it's just a bunch of assholes that see Vapes as a "workround" to someone ENJOYING a "smoke" and deciding "fuck that loophole... let's fucking close it!"
it really annoys me that these fucking people seem to get off of banning things which bring simple pleasure to peoples lives without hurting anyine else.
and if you are then gonna say "but second hand smoke actually DOES..."
really? if that was so why was the original EPA report which named second hand smoke as the biggest killer... yadda yadda..... then why was it taken through a federal court and RIPPED TO BITS for coming "to a predetermined outcome by cherry picking data"?????????... yeah ..it was...
so why not just leave us vapers alone and then i won't haver to write ranting stuff like this...
...,thoughts i know there are folks who use vapes here!
I'm sure they have an influence on the WHO.
I think I'm about 4 years into vaping now. Took a month or so to completely wean off the cigarettes, but I have no desire to fire one of those up anymore. Ever.
I haven't researched it really, but I suspect that Big Tobacco is behind the efforts to regulate/ban e-cigs.
F 'em.
Been vaping about three months now. I no longer wake up hacking up chunks of lung. My shortness of breath is going away, as have the dark rings under my eyes. I feel much better now being off tobaco.
Are e-cigs healthy? I doubt it but they are healthier.
vaping for a year
pax is right
big tobacco has been buying into the e-cig marked, especially unrefilleable cartridge based systems
in holland they went to court and won.
and e-cigs are now no longer considered as medical nicotine supplements.
but big tobacco WANT and NEED it to be regulated.
that is where we should look for a conspiracy between WHO and big tobacco.
if WHO is in the pocket of the vaccine industry, they might also be in the pocket of big tobacco
Doc
most e-cig liquid is made from the same stuff smoke machines use.
the nicotine is on the "poison list" in the same way caffeine is.
the flavourings are normal everyday food flavourings which have been rigidly tested for safety.
simple maths......
it has the nicotine.. fair enough but you can reduce from 24mg by 6mb gradients to zero mg nicotine.
It tastes better by a country mile.. thus less smelly breathe and clothes.
it doesn't have the scores of nasty assed chemicals that tobacco does.
It's a great aid to getting off cigs. I like smoking them as the "mechanics" of smoking, for me , is the biggest thing to kick.
I reckon big tobacco could be behind the moves against vaping....
well them and those assholes who think that vaping = smoking and have faith in that abortion of a study by the EPA that got thrown out a federal court for being bullshit

Interesting.
One of the most respected researchers in the field, Dr. Paul Newhouse, Director of Vanderbilt University’s Center for Cognitive Medicine, argues that nicotine “seems very safe even in nonsmokers. In our studies we find it actually reduces blood pressure chronically. And there were no addiction or withdrawal problems, and nobody started smoking cigarettes. The risk of addiction to nicotine alone is virtually nil.” Tobacco has also been considered harmful because it is highly addictive, but whether nicotine has the same addictive potential remains unclear. According to Dr. Newhouse, “nicotine by itself isn’t very addictive at all… [it] seems to require assistance from other substances found in tobacco to get people hooked.”
I agree with that. When I was a tobacco smoker I would reach for a ciggy as soon as my eyes opened. Now I can wake up and go an hour or more easily. And it's more habit than craving.
and remember that they add a freebase type of nicotine( ammonium base) and other chems in an enhancing coctail to tobacco VS. e-cigs use just normal nicotine.
