Nearly all binary stars orbit each other in fairly elliptical orbits. Some of these support a 3:2 comet resonance as does our dark star. So the existence of a 'dead star' in our solar system implies a nominal 40% chance that the inner planets of our solar system would be subject to bombardment by comet swarms in resonate orbits.

I see that the current explanation for a comets tail is that as a comet approaches the sun, it starts to heat up. The ice transforms directly from a solid to a vapour, releasing the dust particles embedded inside. Sunlight and the stream of charged particles flowing from the sun – the solar wind – sweeps the evaporated material and dust back in a long tail.

I just noticed that the tails on comets are huge, sometimes tens of millions of kilometres in length, it appears that loads of ice and vapour are coming off them. As the ice is continually melting all the time, shouldn’t many comets reach the point where the ice melts completely and only rock is left? They do get very close to the sun, and ice does melt quite easily.

If all the ice did burn up, and it stopped having a tail, would it then not be classified as a comet, or does it still count as a comet due to its elliptical orbit?

Maybe it’s due to the fact that bodies in a circular orbit (meteors) are travelling around the sun at a constant electric potential, whereas comets (having an elliptical orbit) are travelling directly through the electric field causing an electrical discharge 'tail' as the comet adjusts to the localised change in electric potential?

The only reason I say that is that Nasa's Galaxy Evolution Explorer recently took a picture of the rare sight of a star moving at 80 miles per second through a galaxy and it has a huge tale of electricity behind it. Back in 2000, I built a scale working model of the subterranean section of the Great Pyramid. It is only the subterranean section and I don't know the total purpose of the entire Great Pyramid.

The subterranean section is a water pump (by-product) and a hydraulic pulse generator (primary function) It agressively resonates the King's chamber.

Andy Lloyd is the author of The Dark Star, a book that proposes that a sub brown dwarf is a kind of companion star to our sun and exists in the far reaches of the solar system between the Kuiper Belt and the Oort Cloud. Further, the brown dwarf may be orbited by its own moons, some of which might contain life. One of these moons could be the planet referred to by Zecharia Sitchin as Niburi, the home world of the Annunaki.

Neal Adams is a legendary comic book artist best known for helping to create some of the definitive modern imagery of the DC Comics characters Superman, Batman and Green Lantern among others. Adams is also an advocate of the growing earth theory. His theory proposes that the Earth, and by extension, all moons and planets, expand in size from the inside as they age. He hypothesized that Earth was originally ¼ its current size, and that the tectonic plates fit perfectly together on this smaller world which had significantly less areas of water. Further, his notion of a growing universe negates the Big Bang theory, and he outlined how a solar system could come into existence as matter is attracted to a sun’s electromagnetic field.

MESSENGER Streams Back Surprises From Mercury

The recent flyby of Mercury by NASA's MESSENGER spacecraft has given scientists an entirely new look at a planet once thought to have characteristics similar to those of Earth's moon. Researchers are amazed by the wealth of images and data that show a unique world with a diversity of geological processes and a very different magnetosphere from the one discovered and sampled more than 30 years ago.

After a journey of more than 2 billion miles and three and a half years, NASA's MErcury Surface, Space ENvironment, GEochemistry, and Ranging (MESSENGER) spacecraft made its first flyby on Jan. 14. MESSENGER is the first mission sent to orbit the planet closest to our sun. The spacecraft's cameras and other sophisticated, high-technology instruments collected more than 1,200 images and made other science observations. Data included the first up-close measurements of Mercury since the Mariner 10 spacecraft's third and final flyby on March 16, 1975.

"This flyby allowed us to see a part of the planet never before viewed by spacecraft, and our little craft has returned a gold mine of exciting data," said Sean Solomon, MESSENGER's principal investigator, Carnegie Institution of Washington. "From the perspectives of spacecraft performance and maneuver accuracy, this encounter was near-perfect, and we are delighted that all of the science data are now on the ground."

Unlike the moon, MESSENGER showed that Mercury has huge cliffs with structures snaking up hundreds of miles across the planet's face. These cliffs preserve a record of patterns of fault activity from early in the planet's history. The spacecraft also revealed impact craters that appear very different from lunar craters.

Instruments provided a topographic profile of craters and other geological features on the night side of Mercury. The spacecraft also discovered a unique feature that scientists dubbed "The Spider." This formation never has been seen on Mercury before and nothing like it has been observed on the moon. It lies in the middle of a large impact crater called the Caloris basin and consists of more than one hundred narrow, flat-floored troughs radiating from a complex central region.

"The Spider has a crater near its center, but whether that crater is related to the original formation or came later is not clear at this time," said James Head, science team co-investigator at Brown University, Providence, R.I.

Now that MESSENGER has shown scientists the full extent of the Caloris basin, its diameter has been revised upward from the Mariner 10 estimate of 800 miles to perhaps as large as 960 miles from rim to rim. The plains inside the Caloris basin are distinctive and more reflective than the exterior plains. Impact basins on the moon have opposite characteristics.

The magnetosphere and magnetic field of Mercury during the MESSENGER flyby appeared to be different from the Mariner 10 observations. MESSENGER found the planet's magnetic field was generally quiet but showed several signatures indicating significant pressure within the magnetosphere.

Magnetic fields like Earth's and their resulting magnetospheres are generated by electrical dynamos in the form of a liquid metallic outer core deep in the planet's center. Of the four terrestrial planets, only Mercury and Earth exhibit such a phenomenon. The magnetic field deflects the solar wind from the sun, producing a protective bubble around Earth that shields the surface of our planet from those energetic particles and other sources farther out in the galaxy. Similar variations are expected for Mercury's magnetic field, but the precise nature of its field and the time scales for internal changes are unknown. The next two flybys and the yearlong orbital phase will shed more light on these processes.

MESSENGER's suite of instruments also has provided insight into the mineral makeup of the surface terrain and detected ultraviolet emissions from sodium, calcium and hydrogen in Mercury's exosphere. The spacecraft explored the sodium-rich exospheric "tail," which extends more than 25,000 miles from the planet.

"We should keep this treasure trove of data in perspective. With two flybys to come and an intensive orbital mission to follow, we are just getting started to go where no one has been before," said project scientist Ralph McNutt of the Applied Physics Laboratory.

Candidate Department of Geological Sciences San Diego State University Advisor Stephen Schellenberg The Eocene-Oligocene Transition (EOT) is marked by a double-stepped ~1.3‰ positive excursion in d18O over an ~300 kyr interval (i.e., Oi-1; Miller et al., 1991; Zachos et al., 1996; Coxall et al., 2005) and a deepening of the calcium compensation depth (CCD) interpreted to represent marked Antarctic glaciation and global ocean-atmosphere cooling. A ~0.5 m (~55-70 kyr) resolution ostracode faunal study of the Massicore, drilled adjacent to and up-section from the Italian Massignano quarry stratotype section that contains the Eocene-Oligocene GSSP (i.e., base of the Priabonian stage), revealed two transient increases in Krithe and decreases in faunal evenness, enthalpy, eH, and Simpson’s Index that lag two surface water cooling pulses based on a dinocyst-based sea surface temperature (DSST) proxy (van Mourik et al., in prep). These transient ostracode faunal changes may reflect changing physico-chemical water properties, increased sedimentation rates, variable food availability in the benthos, and/or intensifying thermohaline circulation from the Indian or Atlantic Ocean through the paleotethyan seaway. Ordination and cluster analyses also show minor faunal differences during times of relatively cold and warm surface waters based on the DSST proxy. Comparisons made between these Massicore ostracode data and re-analyzed Massignano Quarry ostracode data from Dall’Antonia et al. (2003) revealed major similarites (i.e., similar relative abundances among common taxa where both studies overlap) making it practical for us to combine both records in order to provide a more complete Tethyan ostracode record through the broader EOT and spanning Oi-1 at the stratotype locality.

Physical, petrological, and chemical trends associated with the conversion of k-feldspar-absent quartz dioritic and tonalitic conestones to saprolite in a meditteranean (hot summer) climate, Santa Margarita Ecological Reserve (SMER), southern California, U.S.A Sarah Johnson M.S. Candidate Department of Geological Sciences San Diego State University Advisor Dr. Gary Girty W. Nesbitt and colleagues proposed that weathered plutonic material will spread linearly from parental fields subparallel to the A-CN join toward the A-K join on A-CN-K diagrams, and followed by a linear trend subparallel to the A-K join towards the A apex. Such linear trends are common because soil solutions are typically supersaturated with respect to K, but not CN. At SMER, our studies reveal a weathering trend that deviates from that proposed by W. Nesbitt and colleagues. SMER lies within a Mediterranean (hot summer) climate with an average precipitation of ~39.4 cmyr and average temperature of ~16.6°C. We sampled corestone and adjacent saprolite in an ~123 Ma tonalite, and at two sites lying within an ~107.5 Ma quartz diorite for thin section, physical properties, and chemical analyses. We used the chemical index of alteration (CIA) to determine the degree of weathering and used the transport function (t) for assessing changes in elemental mass. Each variety of sampled corestone lacks modal K-feldspar but contains 4.50% to 12.0% biotite. Our thin section study of samples of saprolite suggests the following order, from most to least weathered; biotite, amphibole, plagioclase, and quartz. On A-CN-K diagrams saprolitic samples spread linearly from the parental material away from the K apex toward the A-CN join.

Most scientists have presumed that these star crossings will lead to a shower of comets raining down on the Earth and the rest of the inner solar system. Some have even claimed to find evidence of periodic mass extinctions that might be explained by a single (as-yet-unidentified) star in an elliptical orbit around the sun.

One of the more amusing pieces of evidence for the existence of Planet X is a picture from the 1987 New Science and Invention Encyclopedia. In a section on space probes, the encyclopedia shows the paths of the 2 Pioneer probes and illustrates how the probes were used in the search for more planets. It shows the Earth, the Sun, a dead star (at 50 billion miles or 538 AU) and a tenth planet (at 4.7 billion miles or 50 AU).

Nearly all binary stars orbit each other in fairly elliptical orbits. Some of these support a 3:2 comet resonance as does our dark star. Here three or four of our nearest ten star systems support such a resonance. Any astronomer skilled in celestial mechanics would be aware of this possibility. So the existence of a 'dead star' in our solar system implies a nominal 40% chance that the inner planets of our solar system would be subject to bombardment by comet swarms in resonate orbits.

In a recent unrecorded conversation with us, not yet reported on our site, Henry confirmed the existence of the "Dark Star", and that its reality had been deduced by American military astrophysicists because of the need to account for certain gravitational anomalies that had been observed. (He mentioned the Pioneer spacecraft, for instance.) This is very important: the "Dark Star" is fully known and understood in the "black world". When he told us this, we immediately realised how extraordinarily important this was.

ASTRO-METRICS, a new planet formation theory has been posted that combines aspects of both general relativity and theology. Previously material posted on this web site suggest that there is a Jovian sized planet or dark star companion to our Sun. This object, dubbed Vulcan, attracts comets from both the Oort cloud or Kuiper belt casting some of them towards Earth. Some fragmented comets form five identified comet swarms that exist in quasi-stable 3:2 resonant orbits. The period of these swarms is about two thirds Vulcan's period, or 3300 years. They alternately pass through the inner solar system striking the Earth, Moon and other inner planets.

But what's intriguing Buie at the moment is the very edge, about 50 times further out from the Sun than the Earth's orbit. Here, at the "Kuiper Cliff", the number of astronomical objects drops off precipitously. Brown Dwarf at the Right Distance

Only 12 light years away, the star Epsilon Indi has been found to have a surprise brown dwarf companion, which was spotted by examining various photographic plates to the star's immediate vicinity. The star experienced no tell-tale wobble because the brown dwarf is orbiting at a whooping 1500 Astronomical Units. This is a promising development because I think it likely that the Sun's own smaller and darker companion achieves aphelion between 500 and 2000AU. Given the evidence of Epsilon Indi B, this does not appear to be all that unreasonable.
Vulcan is half the size of Jupiter and 448 AU away (in 1970).

The traditional view held by geologists is that the Yellowstone petrified tree formations represent many forests which grew one after the other. Each took hundreds of years to grow before it was buried by volcanic ash and slides of volcanic breccia (sharp-edged chunks of volcanic rock cemented to form a solid rock). Then another forest grew on top of it, only to suffer a similar fate, until perhaps as many as fifty to sixty-five forests had been buried and petrified. This explanation has been accepted without question for almost a century. However, recent detailed research has brought to light much evidence that contradicts this traditional view.

Dr. Harold Coffin has conducted careful studies over a number of years on all aspects of the Specimen Ridge formations. Some of the facts that do not fit the picture of forests' being buried where they grew are as follows:9

a. Tree roots abruptly terminating or broken.

b. Almost all trees completely stripped of bark and limbs.

c. Small trees upright, unbroken (a breccia flow would push them over).

d. Ring patterns of neighboring trees do not match.

e. Both upright and prone trees lined up as if by water current.

f. No valid evidence of soil layers where trees grew.

g. Absolutely no evidence of animals found where soil layers should be; also, very few cones found.

h. Many examples of trees overlapping with roots on one located at a level part-way up the trunk of another.

i. Broad leaves found where tree trunks are only conifers.

j. Pollen scarce and not of same kind as the tree trunks.
