With the last U.S. Presidential campaign, we heard the name, Bill Ayers, quite a bit because of his association with Barack Obama. I don 't recall seeing a lot about the man himself, however. This movie is about what made Bill Ayers infamous. But it's not about Bill Ayers only, it's about a very violent and deeply underground protest movement in the 1970's.
The Weather Underground's campaign of violence is legendary, along with their uncanny ability to avoid government detection. These domestic terrorists were very adept at their tasks, though they probably had little to do with shaping American policy on the VietNam War, which seemed to be their primary stated goal.
