Samhain isn't pronounced sah- win but sah-vain .. in gaelic mh = v
lol Gerald Gardener .. founder of Wicca... fuck all to do with ye olde time witchcraft.
the dirty old bastard ran a nudist coloney/house and it was an excuse to have orgies under the guise of witchcraft/religion.... btw he made that wiccan bullshit up in the 1930's
"notice they call him the beast"....in reference to grafitti in his old house in the Highlands....... in Scotland a kiddy fiddler gets called " a beast" as a matter of course... its fuck all to do with Crowley
then this bullshit that Sabbath means worship of Saturn.. utter shite

Sabbath (n.) Look up Sabbath at Dictionary.com
Old English sabat "Saturday as a day of rest," as observed by the Jews, from Latin sabbatum, from Greek sabbaton, from Hebrew shabbath, properly "day of rest," from shabath "he rested." Spelling with -th attested from late 14c., not widespread until 16c.

The Babylonians regarded seventh days as unlucky, and avoided certain activities then; the Jewish observance might have begun as a similar custom. Among European Christians, from the seventh day of the week it began to be applied early 15c. to the first day (Sunday), "though no definite law, either divine or ecclesiastical, directed the change" [Century Dictionary], but elaborate justifications have been made. The change was driven by Christians' celebration of the Lord's resurrection on the first day of the week, a change completed during the Reformation.

The original meaning is preserved in Spanish Sabado, Italian Sabbato, and other languages' names for "Saturday." Hungarian szombat, Rumanian simbata, French samedi, German Samstag "Saturday" are from Vulgar Latin sambatum, from Greek *sambaton, a vulgar nasalized variant of sabbaton. Sabbath-breaking attested from 1650s.

This contains so much speculation and conjecture as to be almost pointless. You ascribe so many powers to Savile but fail to take into account the historical context of when he committed his abuse. There is also a failure to address his charity work which helped to place his status above reproach. Why attribute such magical powers to a sociopath, that is what he was and hence by creating this documentary you have furthered his mythology as an all powerful superhuman magician rather than showing the banality of his crimes and giving a context to his victims.

They state numerous times that they don't ascribe any powers to him other than hypnotism.

they haven't a fucking clue to be honest.
yer spot on pharmacrat. any one with even an ounce of common sense and a smidge of google-fu can disprove all the bollocks in it.
it actually made me laugh my balls off when they make out that his fucking CIGAR was representative of a wizards wand!
again you arwe right, he was a sociopathic old wanker who did his charitable "good deeds" as a shield to his horrible acts upon both the living and dead. and like many sociopaths was an incredibly manipulative mofo.
mind you, i would say there was nothing banal about his crimes.. they were heinous acts...no doubt about it.. but magical? related to Crowley and witchcraft?
not even remotely...
As i said..... the bullshit claim of a connection between the grafitti saying "Jimmy the beast" and Crowley was fucking laughable..... a beast = kiddy fiddler or rapist in Scotland.... which is where i live so i know that much.
I can only imagine Nibs uploaded this as a conversation piece to see people rip it to bits as i don't reckon he believes a fucking word of it..LOL
Nibs.. well played sir!

If you read their comments on their videos you will understand that they do not themselves believe in magic, but that Savile used it to subliminally manipulate people.

Do I need to remind anyone how gullible most people are, and how they can be manipulated by symbolism? Savile preyed on the weak, as do most psychopaths.

Regardless Nibs, it was riddled with highly innacurate speculation such as that craptastica about the graffiti.
also the crap about what sabbath means and it's roots.
in fact it was just plain full of guff in my opinion.
I give that video absolutely zero credence.
BTW the guy who introduced the horned hands to rock music was Ronnie James Dio who had bugger all to do with Saville but oddly a still was shown.
To be honest this video has zero credibility due to be massively overly tenuous connection, inaccuracies and just plain bullshit.
i genuinely thought you put it up for a kinda laugh/conversation piece.

My primary motivation for everything I upload is to stimulate thought. If we get a conversation out of it too, then all the better. As for laughing at this stuff, I only do it as necessary to stop going crazy.

When a video introduction includes this gem:

Was Savile in fact a trans-dimensional sorcerer who harvested occult energies to feed his hunger for power?

Obvious speculation is obvious here, on several levels. It perfectly illustrates what the video is about.

Most people laugh at this sort of occult stuff. I don't, because I've personally seen the (self created) effect that it has on believers.

I don't believe any of it is true, but a lot of people do, therefore they are vulnerable to people who would use it to manipulate them for their own purposes. Do you disagree?

You claim they don't know how to pronounce Samhain, but it was wikipedia that made that claim, not them: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samhain

BTW, "the beast" is also another name for the devil. It could mean many other things. They did not claim to know which beast the vandals were referring to. You shouldn't either.

They also never claimed that Savile was a devotee of Crowley, only asked the question. It's a far less silly question than the one I quoted above.

In Scots Gaelis MH = V, I've never heard it any other way to be honest.. hence why Scots girls called Mhairi get upset when people pronounce it "Marry" instead of "Varrie"

now as for this.. i KNOW what was meant by the graffiti in reference to the word "beast", it's usage for child molester/rapist etc in Scotland is very very common in the same way "nonce" is used in England for child molester.
However .. i watched it again and you are right, they do perpetually use the technique of asking questions most of the time... it's weasel words..
looks here for the definition of "beast" as used in prison lingo

Beast = A Paedophile

here it is being used in a Scottish newspaper refering to paedophiles hijacking peoples wifi to hide themselves

Hijacked by the beasts – innocent Scots are being busted after paedophiles piggy back their wi-fi networks to download child porn
