U.S. Forest Service
These are some interesting training videos put out by the U.S. Forest Service that I was able to find on YouTube. There are videos on using primitive tools in the woods such as the axe & crosscut saw. Some videos discuss log cabin construction, repair and restoration.
One video is a documentary on the Mount St. Helens eruption that was put out by the U.S. Forest Service.
As a bonus I’ve included “How I Sharpen a Crosscut Saw” that discusses in detail how to go about restoring and sharpening a crosscut saw.
I’ve also included an example of the dark side of the U.S. Forest Service and the great power they are capable of wielding/miswielding called “You Won't Believe What The U.S. Forest Service Did To Tombstone AZ.” This is a video not to be missed.
Enjoy! :)
