US Bombing Raids in Yemen

Videos:

1.) Al-Qaeda_ US Plane Bomb Plot_ Revenge for Yemen Operations.mp4 (Russia Today RT with Webster Tarpley)

Yemen right now is a target for the United States. The United States has carried out two rather large bombing raids in Yemen just in the last two weeks (in December 2009). There's a civil war in Yemen. We have the Houthi rebels, Shiites backed by Iran fighting against the Yemen's central government, we can call it that way, which is backed by Saudi Arabia - and the US is intervening. According to Iranian sources, Senator McCain and congresswoman Harman have been in Yemen recently with the attempt to build up Al-Qaeda. Al-Qaeda, of course, functioning as always as the CIA-Arab-Islamic legion. The connection here is that they're trying to build up a presence of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, a creation wholly of the US intelligence agencies, so that they can play Saudi Arabia against Iran and fight against both. There's a strong current inside Saudi Arabia that would like to break away from the US protectorate.

Republic of Yemen

Yemen is a country located on the Arabian Peninsula in
Southwest Asia. It has an estimated population of more than
23 million people and is bordered by Saudi Arabia to the
north, the Red Sea to the west, the Arabian Sea and Gulf of
Aden to the south, and Oman to the east.

Yemen is just under 530,000 km2 in land area. Its territory
includes over 200 islands, the largest of which is Socotra,
about 415 kilometres (259 miles) to the south of mainland
Yemen, off the coast of Somalia. Yemen is the only republic
on the Arabian Peninsula, and one of eight in the Arab
World. Its capital is Sana'a. Between 2000 and 2006, 17.5%
of the population lived on less than US$ 1.25 per day.

Comment: This will make you either very sad or very angry. Do not watch this after lunch - you may have to throw up. Tell me, what's the matter with humanity? I like Webster Tarpley. This guy has guts. Bill Cooper would like him too. Isn't it sad that we have to watch "Russia Today" (Putin-channel) now to circumvent censorship by western media? Have you seen these pictures in your country's media? By the way, "Russia Today" is great - I watch it quite often. It's the intelligent man's "Alex Jones-channel".
