I can't access any of the *click sites ATM, yet a few of the "Is it Down" site checkers are saying they're up. WTF???

I am only on ThePlace, and yes - it is down. I saw that happen sometime earlier this year as well.

I observed it about 6 times an hour while awake. Also set up pings and traceroutes from two IPs.
Many times I observed it to be down. I can never know if my observations changed it's state.
