Survival Basics I&II - Hoodswoods

This DVD is a collection of snippets from the Woodsmaster series and is a great cheaper alternative to buying the entire collection (over 20 now). If your into camping out, bushcraft etc then you may enjoy this, there's plenty of good tips and demostrations which Ron Hood presents very well. His wife, Karen, shows us how to prepare and eat stuff like fish, meat and maggots (this was filmed before Bear G
was chomping on the things).
From watching this you can tell Ron Hood is quite relaxed, laid back and really enjoys what he does which makes it more enjoyable to watch as there's nothing worse than a survival expert taking it all far too seriously, life and death, black and white, survive or DIEEEEEE!!.
As always this shouldn't be your only source of survival information if your planning on staying in some wilderness but it will certainly make you wish you were out there enjoying it.

This is my first DVD rip.
I used AutoGK and took 5hours 18mins to complete!!!! (whats with the 1st & 2nd pass? Do it once dammit).
If anyone knows of a quicker way to do it then please let me know, my pc is ancient and the harddrive keeps switching itself off randomly (this vid took 3 attemts to complete) so i'm surprised to get it up today.

I had a quick look at the avi and it seems to be ok but please let me know if there any problems with it.
