Using Logic Filters on Political Haze
A new thread opens today as an ongoing attempt to separate the realities of radical Islam from the politically correct counter-arguments. Michael Fetcher from the Investigative Project on Terrorism http://www.investigativeproject.org premiers on the show with an accounting of a U.S. State Department settlement with a possible Sharia bank that might have connections with terrorist groups.
Continuing the “bright lights” thread, are there any good ideas for reviving the economy outside of Washington? Economist Dr. Laurie Bassi. Ph.D., http://www.mcbassi.com is co-author of the book, /Good Companies: Business Success in the Worthiness Era.
John’s boralogue examines highlights of this week’s Republican debate through a logic filter, excerpting the important points from a morass of political jargon.

Decoding Your County’s Comprehensive Plan
It’s time to declare war on political correctness as it erodes the country’s ability to debate serious issues. One such orchestrated chorus is the “Islamophobe” charge chanted every time someone raises the issue of radical Islamic terrorism. Daniel Greenfield from Front Page Magazine http://www.frontpagemag.com highlights a recent attack piece by the Soros-sponsored Center for American Progress.
Does your county have a comprehensive development plan? Now you know your local county supervisors didn’t dream it up, so where did it originate? Tom DeWeese at the American Policy Center http://www.americanpolicy.org tells us it’s all tangled with Agenda 21 and an organization known as ICLEI. One thing you will note is that after your county finishes implementing “your plan,” nothing gets done without someone’s permission and paying lots of money to do it.
Then it’s time to return to “yesteryear” (corny expression, isn’t it?) and see how far we’ve come with consensus thinking, especially in the area of education. Charlotte Iserbyt http://www.deliberatedumbingdown.com and Berit Kjos http://www.crossroad.to are heard in this vintage Steel on Steel interview from September of 1998.
John’s boralogue analyzes the collapsing strings of progressive ideas stretching back over six decades as the weight of reality overwhelms their sustainability. But ideologies always die hard and their adherents always attempt keeping them afloat, while sounding increasingly shrill.

Uniting the Races with Truth
John’s extended boralogue ties the discordant economic arguments emanating from Washington with the reality of onrushing monetary crises. This includes excerpts from John’s address at the Steeling the Mind Conference in Denver last weekend.
Since the onrushing crisis involves a demise of the dollar as the world’s reserve currency, we’re tracking the issue of an emerging global currency. Is there a chance carbon might back such a currency instead of gold? Dr. Michael Coffman, Ph.D., http://www.rescuingamericabook.com discusses such a possibility.
“A man who is about to speak the truth should do so with one foot in the stirrup,” advises an old Chinese proverb. As our country slides into critical times, we must insist on passing beyond trite accusations and name calling to resolve hardball questions about race relations. Telling the truth would be a good start even when people don’t want to hear it.
Jesse Lee Peterson founded an organization called, BOND, http://www.bondaction.org “uniting the races with truth instead of dividing them with lies.” The show closes with news stories and persecution update.

Rogue Events and the End of Days
Over the last few weeks we covered the four political and economic storms confronting us over the next 48 months or so. Now let’s throw another one on the pile by examining rogue events. Robert Gleason http://www.robertgleasonbooks.com is author of the book, “End of Days.” He has extensively researched the probabilities of nuclear terrorist attacks.
Teens are super savvy about technology with iPads, iPods and other iWatchyamacallits. Unfortunately they are generally ignorant of the legal implications hanging over their heads when they use those devices. As states tighten laws many are getting themselves into serious trouble. Attorney Frederick Lane http://www.cybertrapsfortheyoung.com is author of “Cybertraps for the Young.”
John’s extended boralogue explains the three steps of dialectical political processes that are playing out in governments around the world, pointing to the economic crises in Europe and the United States. This includes this week’s fallacy: “Begging the Question,” as well as clips from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech at the United Nations.

The Breakup Between Conservatism and Evangelicals
Different beginning to the show today. We’ll spend the first three segments of the show in a “clipathon,” airing various audio clips in order to paint the contrast between our real economic condition and what some are saying in the media.
Then we’ll open a new ongoing thread to track points where Christianity and government worldviews are colliding in the public marketplace. Robert Muse from the Thomas More Law Center http://www.thomasmore.org joins us.
Finally, it seems the temporary marriage between conservatism and evangelicalism may be breaking up. Dr. Darryl Hart from Hillsdale College http://www.oldlife.org is author of /From Billy Graham to Sarah Palin: Evangelicals and the Betrayal of American Conservatism.

The Middle East Christian Winter
Christianity is under siege throughout the Islamic world as the media’s much-touted Arab Spring brings overt persecution of Christians along with increased hostility towards Israel.
John’s boralogue outlines the current situation for Christians in the Middle East. Then Dexter van Zile from CAMERA http://www.camera.org details the willingness of many Christian organizations to attack Israel, while at the same time remaining silent about the growing desperation of Christians in the region.
In hour two, John’s mini-boralogue focuses on the coming civil war in the United States, where states will be pitted against each other on the economic battlefield.
Finally the world food shortage is under way and it affects third world countries first and worst. Anne Goddard is president of Child Fund International http://www.childfund.org and she has just returned from the horn of Africa, where a serious famine is underway.

Nothing Has Changed
All of the political and media hoo-hah in Europe and the United States disguises the fact nothing has changed in correcting our deteriorating economic condition. Europe is no closer to bailing out a Greek default and the United States is determined to plow into economic shipwreck while as we bicker over taxes for the rich. The path to ruin lies just ahead.
Today’s show provides an extended historical boralogue starting in 1933 and examining all the legislation that brought us to the economic mess in which we find ourselves, as well as a listing of the guilty parties involved.
The United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) from 1992 is being implemented with a vengeance in the United States and having serious negative impacts on the economy and property ownership. Next year the U.N. is planning UNCED+20. Laura Rambeau Lee http://www.right-reason.com joins us to see what effects implementation of this conference is having on life in the U.S.
Finally, Christian parents seem to be in the habit of setting their children in front of philosophical firing squads and leaving them unprepared for the philosophical onslaught that will strike them in education. Dr. Stephen Meyer, Ph.D., from the Discovery Institute http://www.discovery.org along with Focus on the Family http://www.trueu.org have produced a new DVD series designed to instruct teens on the worldview conflicts they will encounter in college.
