Food Budgets in Rough Times
Why would an engineer at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena be demoted? What horrid breach of protocol had he committed? He gave DVDs supporting intelligent design theory to his colleagues. Casey Luskin is an attorney with the Discovery Institute http://www.discovery.org in Seattle and there's a lawsuit underway.
It seems many listeners don't understand what happens when a currency collapses and how it affects the little guy. Jim Puplava from Financial Sense http://www.financialsense.com makes a brief appearance to explain this.
Then we'll move into a series of specials addressing what people can do to prepare for the coming financial and energy storms -- the train wreck. Today's focus rotates around budgets and food. Danny Kofke is author of "How to Survive and Perhaps Thrive on a Teacher's Salary." Joann Brusso is host of the http://www.babybites.info website, which deals with economical and healthy food preparation.
John's boralogue examines the Goldman-Sachs shell game, where those clamoring for reform in congress and the government, those claiming to watch out for our interests, were part of causing the problem in the first place, but for some reason people don't seem to notice.
