In the last two decades the U.S. Congress has passed the most protective whistle blower legislation in the world in order to enhance accountability and responsibility, but if you are a National whistle blower, this legislation does not apply to you. In fact, If you become brave enough and decide to do so, you are now considered an Enemy Of The State.

Sibel Edmonds, a 32-year-old Turkish-American, was hired as a translator by the FBI shortly after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 because of her knowledge of Middle Eastern languages. She was fired less than a year later in March 2002 for reporting security breaches to her supervisors that could have prevented those attacks, and also for reporting shoddy work and mismanagement of critical National Security intelligence information.

Kill The Messenger is a 2005 French documentary about Sibel Edmonds. The documentary focuses on both Ms. Edmonds's personal struggle to expose the criminality that she uncovered while at the FBI, and also the "secret" itself - the network of nuclear black-market, narcotics and illegal arms trafficking activities.

This is an excellent documentary. Sibel is a true patriot, not to mention being quite a dish and very kind to the eyes.. Her podcasts (Boiling Frogs) that I upload here often, are very informative and deal with issues that most refuse to touch upon. Brad Friedman's new article about her (THE TRAITORS AMONG US) in the March edition of Hustler is great as well, and can be read now instead of waiting for the issue to arrive.

This video includes the full 52 minute film, plus an interview of Sibel by Abby Martin on RT.
