U.S. heading to a deflationary period and could end up like Japan. "We have potentially a devastating scenario". The government has tried everything to stimulate growth. The debt burden is going to get bigger.

Miles Ferguson's analysis "The U.S. government could be spending more on interest payments than the military before the end of the decade. The final result could be a failed bond auction or a downgrade in U.S. credit rating...but the damage will be done long before then."
