The River (1938) & The Mississippi River Flood (1927)

This is a fascinating look into the past. If civilisation collapses then we will have to go back to the old tried and tested methods of trade and agriculture based on horses and hard manual labor. Learn from the past to survive the near future.

Back in 1937 after the huge flood, the victims had received help from the government and they had received it fast and efficiently. Just look at what happened after Katrina - it was a double-disaster: First the flood and then the absence of any help. Where did all the taxpayer's money go FEMA had received?

You'll also see that back then the U.S. was a much more decent country than it is today. U.S. society has decayed both financially and morally at record speed in fifty years only.
