Reading Between the Lines - On Pascal (1969)

This is a superb and yet easy to understand philosophical dialog from maybe 1969 on Blaise Pascal the French mathematician, physicist, inventor, writer and Catholic philosopher. A priest and a french philosopher talk about the inevitable conflict between rationality and faith and how it is possible to reach out for the unimaginable and the Supreme while being a rational human being.

Where are the limits of mathematics and is it possible to go beyond it, to transcend the limited concepts defined by man's reason? Does man have the right to love imperfect man or should man love GOD only?

Man's state of mind is also reflected in the history of mathematics. Pascal's mathematics with infinitesimals has lead to a paradigm-shift making room for the infinite and thus making room for unlimited thoughts eventually leading man into an age of unlimited states of consciousness and towards the Supreme beyond man's limited mental concepts.

comment: I do love these French intellectuals, they're so elegant and distinguished. By just looking at these two humans you can see how deeply American and also German intellectuals have fallen from divine grace. Such humans may give us hope for man's future in these dark times. And then the French language is so amazingly beautiful.

Was Blaise Pascal a member of the illuminati? Look at the pyramid in the picture...

Reality is the devil and LOVE CONQUERS ALL
