Question

Hi, I'm a newbie and I'm trying to download e-books, but for some reason I am not able to.
I already have the BitTorrent client installed in my computer, but still I'm not able to download anything.
Does anyone has any other suggestion?

What error are you getting?

What operating system are you using? Version?
What bittorrent client are you using? Version?
What browser are you using? Version?

Go here:

See the link to the torrent file labeled:
"Haass, Richard.A World in Disarray- American Foreign Policy and the Crisis of the Old Order.2ndEd.2018.epub_.torrent"?
What happens when you click on that link? Be precise.

Response

When I click in the link it tells me that the file I'm trying to add is already in the list of torrents.

You're already downloading it then

Once you add a torrent to the client, it will automatically download the contents for you (assuming it has seeds). I'm not familiar with TransmissionQT, but it should tell you how much of it has been downloaded. It should download the contents to your Download folder by default. Have a look in there and see.

Answer

To avoid all future complications - uninstall Transmission QT, install QBittorrent and start using it, instead of TransmissionQT. That's my 2¢ advice.

Urgent help wanted :)

I think the problem is that I don' t have peers and the items are not seeded?
What does a mean when an item has seeds, anyway?

ConCen
Seeds are peers with a complete copy of the material

Post a link to a torrent which you can't download.
