The Prophets and Our Times by Rev R Gerald Culleton (1941) end time prophecy Old Testament and New Testament prophecies, plus (and mainly) prophecies from Saints and holy people regarding the End-of-Time era. This book contains more prophecies than other books regarding the end times, and while the author demonstrated World War II as the fulfillment of some of these prophecies, it is obvious they are yet to be fulfilled. The great strength of this book consists in the greater number of prophecies cited; it is the ultimate source book for writers on the Apocalypse. 251 pgs; PB Rev. R. Gerald Culleton (1902-1950) was a pastor and chaplain, who also wrote Prophets and Our Times. He wrote in his 1949 Preface, "It has not been my intention to inject myself or my personal opinions into this book. On the whole it is not to be considered so much a theological as an historical presentation. The purpose has been to put it into the hands of as many readers as possible the thoughts of many different persons, all of them pious and some of them learned... when a statement seemed to me in need of clarification or or modification from a doctrinal point of view, I have added a footnote or remarks in parenthesis." Amazing Puzzles - Saintly Prophecies This Book is a MUST HAVE for any real student of Catholic Prophecy. Because it pre-dates all recent prophetic compilations, it reveals the REAL initial source material for most modern compilations. It demonstrates how very specific prophecies can seem in reality almost hopelessly vague - perhaps completely devoid of any real meaning. It raises questions like: "Did the European Dynastic Monarchies machinate and invent these prophetic traditions for political reasons? Who is really behind this body of prophecy for 'Great Monarch'? What is most fascinating about this work, is that it demonstrates the absolutely confounding difficulties that accompany supposedly "Church Approved" prophecies. Could they be nothing more than intentional fabrications? It is an amazing collection of scriptural, and saintly prophecies, supposedly compiled from writings throughout the centuries. However, it creates as many problems as it solves: which is precisely why it is demonstrative of the the extremely problematic aspects of a real study of prophecy. It raises very real questions about the actual validity of all supposedly "Church Approved" prophecy. If this work can be shown to have dubious, or fabricated source material: it shatters every successive prophetic work based on these same traditional prophecies. This is not to say that the prophecies do not have an historical basis - but the extensive array of specific prophecies which have never remotely ever come to pass, pose great difficulties for any modern scholar of "Approved Prophecy." After careful study, the question must be asked: is it all a hoax? If these prophecies are not ALL hoaxes - then why has not one of them ever come to pass in any semblance of specific fulfillment? The book is well worth having: simply so that one can argue either for or against the whole subject. If one reads this work, and others like it, with extreme scepticism, one may decide that the majority of all "approved" prophecies have simply been inserted but never actually ever examined for authenticity. While this commentary may seem critical: it is written with the utmost respect for the purported prophecies - but in amazement at the seeming total failure of any fulfillments. How can so may specific prophecies seem to have never been fulfilled? How then can one give credence to the general thrust of them all - which is the coming of some 'Great Monarch'? If there is any truth to these prophecies at all, then they should all be fulfilled very soon. audio-book specs: computer voice Daniel UK Mac OS X, run time: 8 hours 21 minutes 24 seconds, 64 kbps, 22.05 kHz audio: Father John O Connor The Reign of the Antichrist ebooks: The Prophets and Our Times by Rev R Gerald Culleton, 1941, ed.pdf The Prophets and Our Times by Rev R Gerald Culleton, 1941.pdf The Reign of Antichrist by Rev R Gerald Culleton, 1951, ed.pdf The Reign of Antichrist by Rev R Gerald Culleton, 1951.pdf tags: new age, conspiracy, Lucifer, illuminati, nwo, deception, manipulation, mind control, one world religion, antichrist
