Propaganda - The Image and Its Power

A documentary series from the 80s. Adapted for the UK from the original French series, "Propaganda: l'image et son pouvoir", produced by TF1 in 1987 and brought to the UK by Channel 4 in 1989.

The source videos were captured and converted from old Betamax tapes, but the quality is still reasonable. The series has some good content which, despite its age, is still very relevant today. From this time capsule you'll perceive that nearly a generation later, the techniques of influencing the population by doctoring and controlling appearances (images) has changed very little over the years.
