When Indonesia was rocked by a 6.3-magnitude earthquake early Saturday morning, Discovery Channel producer Elliott Shiff was caught in the panic and destruction that rocked the already-ravaged region. Shiff and his crew were in the region filming the area’s most active volcano for a future television special when the earthquake struck. Surviving the quake, Shiff and his team captured the earliest images from this latest disaster – some footage actually shot while the earthquake was taking place.
