In the process we explore connections to the forbidden wisdom of the Serpent in the Garden of Eden, Cain as both a blacksmith god and the lord of agriculture, Georgius Agricola, the Nahushtan or crucified serpent, and the first silver dollars minted in the Jachimov Valley in 16th-century Bohemia.
