Monday, March 16th

Katherine Hughes represents the best of citizen activism. She is a Scottish national who has lived in the US since 1988 and maintains the web site www.dhafirtrial.net.

In 2004 - 2005, she attended Dr. Rafil Dhafir's entire 17-week trial as an ACLU court watcher. He was convicted on 59 or 60 counts and sentenced to 22 years in federal prison for his "crime of compassion" - for using his own funds and what he could raise through his Help the Needy charity to provide essential to life aid to Iraqis under punitive sanctions from 1990 - 2003.

The latest on his case and the plight of political prisoners in America will be discussed.

Tuesday, March 17th

Gail Davidson is a prominent lawyer based in Vancouver, BC. She is a spokesperson for Lawyers against War (LAW) and has been involved in an action in Canada to prosecute George W. Bush for war crimes.

LAW has recently sent a letter to the RCMP War Crimes Program requesting them to: begin an investigation of George W. Bush for aiding, abetting and counseling torture at Guantánamo Bay prison, Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq, Bagram prison in Afghanistan and other places.

Our focus in the program will be on George W. Bush's visit to Calgary on March 17th. Gail Davidson will be reporting and providing analysis on the initiative directed against the former President of the US.

Wednesday, March 18th

F. William Engdahl is a leading analyst of the New World Order and Research Associate of the Centre for Research on Globalization. For over 30 years, he's written extensively about energy, politics, economics, and more.

He also authored "A Century of War: Anglo-American Politics and the New World Order" and "Seeds of Destruction, The Hidden Agenda of Genetic Manipulation." published by Global Research.

His newest book is titled "Full Spectrum Dominance: Totalitarian Democracy in the New World Order."

Jennifer Duka is the wife of Dristan Duka, one of the so-called "Fort Dix Five" victims of America's war on Islam. On December 22, they were convicted of conspiracy to kill American soldiers on the base even though there was no plot and no crime, just another case of FBI entrapment in the "war on terror" continuing under Barack Obama.

Discussion will focus on Duka, the "Fort Dix Five," and other political prisoners in America.

He's also a freelance journalist, frequent speaker, a playwright and author of "The War at Home: The Bush-Corporate Offensive Against American Workers and their Unions." His new books include "The Trillion Dollar Income Shift - Essays on Income Inequality in America" and "Epic Recession and Global Economic Crisis."

Discussion will focus on Obama's economic plan and a progressive alternative.
