For those who've been waiting for last week's episode: I wasn't able to record the stream myself and the good folks at RBN somehow had problems with their archives, but as you can see they've managed to restore it. So here are the last two episodes:

November 10th 2008:

Michael Hudson has had a long, varied, and distinguished career as a Wall Street analyst, leading economist, expert on financial history, and Research Professor at the University of Missouri. He's also an author, consultant, and president of the Institute for the Study of Long Term Economic Trends (INSLET). Hudson is fiercely critical of the Bush administration's efforts to bail out Wall Street. Reward the criminal element that runs it. Hollow out America in the process, and hang the greater public out to dry. The current financial crisis and its seriousness will be discussed on the program.

Mickey Huff is a California-based Professor of History at Diablo Valley College. A Lecturer in Sociology at Sonoma State University, and Instructor of Critical Thinking and Media Studies at Berkeley City College. He's also Interim Associate Director of Project Censored (PC), the media democracy advocacy group. It researches vital news stories that are "underreported, ignored, misrepresented, or censored by the US corporate media." Each year, it ranks the top 25 and publishes them in its yearbook, "Censored: Media Democracy in Action." The latest "Censored 2009: The Top 25 Censored Stories of 2007 - 2008" is now out and available for purchase online and at www.projectcensored.org/store. PC's work will be discussed on the program as well as Mickey Huff's writing in Censored 2009.

November 17th 2008:

David Swanson was press secretary for Dennis Kucinich's 2004 presidential campaign. He's also been media coordinator for the International Labor Communications Association, communications coordinator for ACORN, and the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. He's also Co-Founder of AfterDowningStreet.org and Washington Director of Democrats.com. In addition, a board member of Progressive Democrats of America, the Backbone Campaign, and Voters for Peace as well as a member of the legislative working group of United for Peace and Justice. He's been one of the leading figures in the campaign to impeach George Bush and Dick Cheney. That topic and the incoming administration will be discussed on the program.

Michael Parenti is an internationally known political scientist and award-winning author and lecturer. His many books include Democracy for the Few in its eighth edition, Superpatriotism, Inventing Reality on the state of the media, and his newest titled Contrary Notions: The Michael Parenti Reader. Parenti is also one of the nation's leading progressive political analysts, social critics, and anti-war activists. A new president will take office in January. Discussion will cover the state of the nation that awaits him to include war and peace and the current economic crisis.
