Manson Family - Charles 'Tex' Watson 700 Club Interview

Charles 'Tex' Watson didn't give many interviews but he did grant the religious program 700 Club a couple of interviews in the 1980s, this being one of them. The daughter of victim Rosemary LaBianca, Suzan LaBerge, briefly appears in this program. I'll later upload an entire interview she gave back in the early 1990s, when she actively campaigned for Watson's release. Doris Tate, mother of victim Sharon Tate, confronted LaBerge at one of Watson's parole hearings at called her "You dumb sh[bleep]t!" on television, which probably accurately sums up just about everybody's feelings about this woman. But it does make interesting TV ;-)

Strangely, LaBerge never did the same for the two women involved in her mother's and stepfather's murder: Patricia Krenwinkel and Leslie Van Houten. Nobody ever bothered to ask her the obvious question: Why only Watson?

Suzan LaBerge is the only relative of the victims who publicly forgave any of the killers. The rest of the LaBianca, including Rosemary's son Frank Struthers, Jr., always vehemently oppposed LaBerge's views and remain stronly opposed to any of the killers' parole up to this day.
