This is an excerpt from a groundbreaking and highly controversial radio interview that aired towards the end of 1998 on Art Bell's Coast to Coast AM. This period of time was renowned for many new public disclosures of military-related installations and technologies - namely Area 51 and the HAARP project - as well as many notable mysterious deaths and death threats against whistleblowers and truth-seekers. In this explosive interview, a retired Lieutenant Colonel named Tom Bearden reveals the advanced physics behind - and the sobering reality of - top secret military technologies that utilize electromagnetic pulses and scalar and longitudinal waves for the purposes of weather manipulation. It is also revealed that a former KGB defector blew the whistle on covert Russian technologies that can trigger earthquakes. Russia is allegedly the leader in this covert activity behind the scenes. A recent reminder of such activities can be found in the anomalous sightings of the "Norway Spiral" that appeared very close in proximity to where and when President Barack Obama received the Nobel Peace Prize. Such displays and military uses of this technology have been used to manipulate geopolitics behind the scenes since at least the early 1960s. Tom Bearden gives several historical examples of this, complete with names and dates and scientific evidence.

Shortly after this radio interview, and a public presentation in Seattle, Tom Bearden received a death threat, Richard Hoagland had a mysterious and massive heart-attack, and another man known as Speaking Wind - who had spoken extensively about the HAARP project on Art Bell's show - actually died of a heart-attack within days of his interview on Coast to Coast AM. Seventeen minutes and 30 seconds into this excerpted radio interview is an appended additional excerpt from a later show (December 30, 1998), when Art Bell reads out a private message from Tom Bearden that was sent to Richard Hoagland, that details the death threat he received. A clear warning was given to him not to speak about weather modification technologies, in a large public setting, ever again.
