During the 1990s, journalists and ideologues exploited media events in ways that created a worldview based on gynocentrism and misandry. In that atmosphere, courts and legislatures established systemic discrimination against men. This not only institutionalized misandry, but also undermined the moral and democratic foundations of society.

I have been noticing the rise of misandry in the media for a few decades now. Shows like the Simpsons and Family Guy are quite insidious IMO because they present this model of "the useless man" in the form of comedy - so while viewers are snickering away at these caricatures they are not activating their critical mind filters to see we are being programmed by this BS. Michael Tsarion and Crrow777 do some great analysis of this topic :-)

Any chance you have ebook of "The Myth of Male Power? I used to have a hard copy, given to me by a close friend who ran mens workshops, but lent it out and never got it back grrrrrrrr
