Our World - Kabul Cops - BBC World
98% of all UK and Euro heroin comes from Afghanistan. In the 1990s the USA got ONLY around 5% from there - it's now approaching 80%.
Say thanks to Bush's CIA and the perpetual war eCONomy.
Nadene Ghouri goes inside Kabul's Criminal investigation Department, as the city's
police chief battles crime, corruption and drugs.
As in any other 'democracy'... the cops love to show the TV cameras how the carry out a *really* complex and dangerous operation ie: rounding up a load of opium addicts in a disused building - whacking them with rifle butts a bit and chucking them into a van.
It's keystone cop-tastic. Half of them escape and run off to go score more smack. A habit in Europe/USA costs between £10 - £50 a day [opioids only] whereas in Afghanistan - it's $2 a day. Watch out also the professional way they deal with crims using blue lights on cars to rob n rape civillians.
The other thing they fail to mention is that ONE THIRD of new recruit cops to their narcotics squad have to go into rehab first. As happened in SE Asia - wherever Bush Co take their above-government narco trafficking - the domestic population then suffers from vastly increased addiction.
Check my new youtube double video - "Smiling Bush, JFK and Crack". Out in a few days. It'll drop jaws to the floor.
