John gets his letter from the FCC (regarding the visit from them a couple weeks back ..because John has a low power FM station) and calls the FCC Houston Office...and faxes over that letter (from Eric Johnson in Everett Washington) where the FCC says it only regulates INTERSTATE (across state lines) and not INTRASTATE (within State lines). John says that the letter says he must respond within 10 days...so he faxes over that letter.

Ron asks John about the FCC wanting to come in and look at the equipment and see where the equipment was from. Ron and John concur that the FCC wants to establish that since the equipment came through the mails .... because then it could be considered as COMMERCE . A very good discussion ensues regarding jurisdictions, commerce and the constitution..a caller from Texas joins the discussion.

John saw nothing in the media about the Gulf over the weekend. John says the theory that a meteor wiping out dinosaurs may not be true as it could have happened with the Earth blowing up from inside from methane and other gasses. The very same thing could happen again. People who are worrying about Martial Law or evacuations ... this thing might have the capability to "evacuate"...by itself...
