after the overthrow of the US puppet dictator Somoza who flew out dropping bombs out the side of the chopper, the US and others set up the 'contras' and death squads to terrorize the peasant farmers, kill doctors, teachers, activists...blow up schools, clinics, hospitals....cause they couldn't beat the rebels, so they just wanted to drain the money of the new Sandinista government that was trying to raise the standard of life of the exploited poor, take land from the controlling families...
