The Jack Blood Show August 15th 2013
Jack Blood is back with Podcast #2 2013
The newer format takes shape with many new sounds, and a recap of the news and culture you can only get here! WE NEED Y’ALL TO DONATE TO THIS SHOW IF YOU WANT IT TO KEEP COMING! (KARMA goes out in this edition at the end of Part 2)
Hour 1: We Break down some overtime propaganda coming hard from the “Demopublicans” and their unwitting supporters. Updates on NSA spying and how that will be part of future (s)elections… Obama and Holder try to reshape their O’Legacy by advocating “prison reforms” (If closing Gitmo is our guide then we are not hoping for much here)…. A NY Judge rules NYPD “Stop and Frisk” program unconstitutional! (Bloomberg vows to appeal) – An Oklahoma man makes it rough on his congressman at a town hall meeting in OKC (They’re back…). Former ABC Nightline host Ted Koppel warns us on the “Industry of Fear” (The “terrorists” are winning due to our overreaction etc)…. and Director Oliver Stone calls Cousin Barry a SNAKE while promoting his revisionist history film in Japan…. ALSO: Jack Gives a quick analysis on the violence in Egypt, and Lollapalooza fans in Chicago volunteer for micro-chipped wristbands.
Hour 2: Jack interviews new street novelist Tom Hansen about his book “THIS IS WHAT WE DO”. Tom is a former Seattle Punk Rock guitarist who’s own life story is a harrowing cautionary tale in itself. The novel is about a world that is splitting at the seems, and coming apart in every corner due to Wall St and elite decadence fueled by a lack of accountability (Sound familiar?)
Tom’s Protagonist is an alcoholic ex pat American in France who through his love for an abused model, seeks revenge and retribution. James Nethery is subsequently sought as a leader for what is in a reality a leaderless revolution with a trail of dead and maimed bankers and scumbags. The “Anonymous” tag line scrawled above the dead elites reads, “This Is What We Do”
(We couldn’t put this book down!!!)
Hansen is a fearless writer, and employes a new school style that forces the reader to think for themselves. Needless to say, the literati hasn’t been too kind to him. SUPPORT THIS WORK AND HELP GET THE WORD OUT FOR “THIS IS WHAT WE DO”
