I'm leaking Heaven's Gate materials, and will probably get sued. Advice?

Hello everyone. I am a new member, and I have been working with various ex-members of the Heaven's Gate group to preserve and disseminate information that is being suppressed by Mark and Sarah King, the people who run "the TELAH Foundation".

( For a very brief run-down of how the media has lied about the group, read this: https://www.grunge.com/344467/the-truth-about-heavens-gates-remaining-me... )

Mark and Sarah are getting extremely aggressive with copyright threats to these aforementioned ex-members, and now I am the one who has taken on the role of disseminating this information.

They are going to come for me. They will threaten at least $91 million in damages if their past threats are anything to go by. I don't even have $91.

I want to pre-emptively seek legal backup. There is a strong case to be made that they didn't rightfully obtain the copyright to the materials they retroactively copyrighted, and there is hard evidence that they suppress materials they do not have a right to suppress through fraudulent copyright claims.

Are there any sympathetic organizations or groups that you would recommend I reach out to for potential legal or financial aid if things start getting serious?

I am incredibly grateful to be welcomed into this community and look forward to continuing my work in releasing suppressed information,
~ HPM

WELL I AM NOT A LAWYER!! and I am not sure there are any here.
for this type of advice it's best to go to an actual lawyer and any advice gained here will not be actual legal advice but just non legal opinion.
One thing i can say though is that we do not allow archive files such as winrar and/or zip so the upload with the archive file will be disappearing soon as the files are available in another upload. ;)

Compressed files

I saw that and I think that's fine, thanks for letting me know! I'll make sure to format any future releases accordingly.

I made an exception because of the fact that the long file names in the orifinal archive choke with the bittorrent protocol.

So wait

Do they know your identity?

TheCorsair00
Yeah

If you are hiding behind the moniker HotPreyingMantis, and only on a few semi-public torrent sites like ConCen, they might not find out about your leaked torrents. At best, it will only be several hundred that will go for downloading them anyways, so Mark and Sarah shouldn't be too upset...

HotPreyingMantis
They will find out

Trust me, I have been sharing this around, and normal people are starting to notice. One YouTube video has already been made about it.

Copyright

Lots of people here worry about copyright complaints quite frequently, such that many of our best uploaders do so anonymously.

I wish you luck. If anything happens, you can get free legal aid and state that you shared this information for religious and educational purposes.

Free Legal Aid

You say if something happens I can get free legal aid? How does that work? I am completely ignorant to much of the legal system (as I'm sure is obvious), and that's sort of what I was hoping I could get some clarification on here. Thanks for replying!

America

I guess it depends on where you are from. I had the understanding that most countries offer free legal aid for anybody facing legal issues, but perhaps it is slightly different in America. I would definitely do some Google searching to find out more, as I really am not too sure about that. But where I am from, we do get free legal aid. Of course, you probably get what you pay for and they are more busy than paid lawyers, but they are at least there to help out...

civilily die, learn how courts get jurisidiction

One can set oneself up thru private trusts and literally "close" the PUBLC ("STRAWMAN") account (ie. name + social insurance number). these contracts and resulting constructive trust can be changed/updated at any time if one cared to learn how. Its not an instant fix (took me several years of study), but its possible to become judgment proof.

Strawman principles

Ideology of natural law behind strawman principles is beautiful and deep philosophical work which resonates with reality. However all people which used it are sanctioned in front of the court. So just read but don't do it.

zerocenter
yes, do not do "it" if one can't define what "it" is.

STRAWMAN is a euphemism to convey a message to people who don't understand trusts. Obviously, the simple definition doesn't reflect the equitable reality. don't do anything one learns on youtube. read original source material, and don't listen to anyone who doesn't give you a long reading list from where they got all their "deep philosophical" ideas. IF you are in front of a "court" you are in the wrong place to get anything done. In the UK there is "The White Book". do a search for Robert Newman who knew what he was talking about when it came to dealing with non-contentious probate. America adopted the English crown's rules of equity into their constitution. Any country with a name registration + social insurance system will close the corporate agency one uses to open "banking" and "do business" when the living man dies. The "infant decedent" is the entity that has to civilly die before probate can be closed.... all "infant decedents" accounts are in open probate until there is proof of death.
people who read, can guide one better than people who watch youtube videos. if one entrusts one's business to an attorney, then one just hired a mercenary who's first duty is to the court, then only second to their clients. Why hire someone who has to get a license (to practice what is unlawful) just to "practice" (never actually competent) law?
Read "Woe Unto You Lawyers" for a wake up call: https://freedom-school.com/woe_unto_you_lawyers.pdf
"A lusty, gusty attack on "The Law" as a curious, antiquated institution which, through outworn procedures, technical jargon and queer mummery, enables a group of medicine-men to dominate our social and political lives and our business, to their own gain."
