The Hunt for Bin Laden (2012)

Documentary about the mission to hunt down Osama bin Laden, which was completed when he was killed in a raid by US Special Forces in May 2011. Bin Laden had paid the price for the atrocities he committed on September 11th 2001, but the mission to find him began much earlier. As bin Laden's terror attacks spiralled across the world, the United States struggled to find and eliminate the world's most-wanted man. This film tells for the first time the inside story of the most expensive manhunt in history, through the memories of the intelligence chiefs, military leaders and politicians who masterminded the mission to bring bin Laden to justice. It is a story of political caution, missed opportunities, shifting agendas and growing tension.
