Instead of respect for reason, open dialogue, freedom of speech and individual and property rights, political systems across the world are becoming increasingly authoritarian.
Deceptions and lies, manipulation and propaganda, fear-mongering and psychological operations are all being used to justify political actions and policies that destroy life.

I am not following the logic
I am not following the logic here. what's the alternative you are proposing? leaders should just call a spade a spade and say, 'yeah, well this medicine costs too much so screw the masses.'
I agree that there are some PC words and terms that definitely let leaders run roughshod over the masses but how is that any different from any period of history in any country across the world? is it better to have a dictator? is it better to live under a Soviet communist state or Chinese one? isn't it better to at least live in a society that *aspires* to do better but obviously falls short a lot of the time?
what logic was missed?
seems perfectly logical to me, but one has to a have a much broader definition of law and equity before one might see the logical alternatives to political "big lies" to control the masses. eg. why is it so hard to imagine times when people were free to innovate, create and build systems that actually served an abundant life of health, wellness and prosperity? Is it a lack of imagination, ignorance of history, failure to explore other economic, social, political, "religious" systems?
the example of "medicine" is a good point. if all modern western "medicine" and its "expensive" nature were just thrown into the garbage pail of history, would mankind surive? of course, they got by without it for thousands of years and would thrive and do much better when it is completely abandoned. There is a huge world of integrated doctors, energy medicine and other alternative naturalpathic protocols to restore wellness if 100% of western medicine disappeared. Only thing worth keep would be combat medic "emergency" medicine, with all the recovery free of ALL artificial "drugs", pills, potions and other adulterations of natural solutions.

as far as economic solutions, there are many... too numerous to go into here that would make modern western politics a bad ancient memory. the age of the psychopath is over, they just don't know it yet.
