Wednesday, 6 November 2013: My off-air conversation earlier today with Gregg Jackson, author (with Steve Deace) of We Won’t Get Fooled Again was incredibly eye-opening.

While I believe I have a fairly good understanding of political theater, Mr. Jackson took my understanding to an even higher level. Moreover, his verbal assessment of where we are as a country today, how we arrived here, and who facilitated our journey to the moral and spiritual abyss where we now stand is precisely detailed in his book. I emphasize “who” because of its importance, especially in the context of the overall health of our nation.

Mr. Jackson identifies, by name, those individuals and organizations who have contributed to our current state of moral, financial, and spiritual bankruptcy. He identifies not just the usual suspects on the Progressive left, but the so-called Christian conservative leaders who have knowingly led us down the path of self-destruction and the conservative punditry who were unwavering in their support.

Perhaps most important of all and certainly most timely, our conversation turned to the Affordable Health Care Act, or “ObamaCare.” Conservative commentators, pundits and talk show hosts have been dedicating much of their time talking about the failure of the web site and the many problems ObamaCare is causing while completely missing – or ignoring – the most important aspects and issues of the plan. They are missing the big picture… the most critical and vital part of the picture. It was never intended to work. You’re being fooled again. Nearly everything taking place is by design and not by incompetence.

If you are listening to the same people talking about the same right-left, liberal-conservative aspects of “ObamaCare”, your attention is being deliberately diverted from the primary objective of the plan, which is to capture the entire health care industry in the United States and throw it into chaos. It’s Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals 101… yet precious few are seeing or addressing the real issues.
