1. BIBLICAL NONSENSE - Dr. Jason Long

Author Dr. Jason Long is a former Christian who condenses the most significant biblical problems into this single volume. Unlike other books in the field that delve into only one topic, this manuscript, comprehensible even to those who have never opened a Bible, is a full-fledged attempt to demonstrate that God’s supposed word is a product of human minds, not divine inspiration. Dr. Long’s fresh experiences in the church and advanced levels of educational enlightenment make him the perfect individual to present this vehemently unpopular, yet undeniably appealing topic.

2. Return to oneness: A new book from the creator of the Intnsive of enlightment and Excalibur exercises - Zivorad Mihajlovic Slavinski

Zivorad Mihajlovic Slavinski is an unusual kind of genius. Building on what others have done and tried to do, he reveals methods that allow you to dissolve problems and attain Oneness with the Universe, with all Being, with All That Is.

He reveals in this book his exact and detailed methods for making what appear to be small changes in how a process is done, so that huge results are attained.

I've never seen anything like this, elsewhere.

In this book you can learn *multiple* ways of solving and dissolving problems and problem states of consciousness - and end up not only being without those problems anymore, but also ending up with a powerful, life changing state of Oneness with All That Is.

He makes it easy. This is groundbreaking -- consider how in the past people went on pilgrimages to other countries to find teachers. Most people are transformed by such a journey, but I don't know of anyone, until now, who made is so easy to Attain Oneness so easily, reliably, and make that an end result of dissolving problems or problem states of consciousness - and end up not only *without* your problem or problem states of consciousness, but end up experiencing your own wholeness and your own Unity with the Entire Universe.

He has several books available as eBooks in various languages - he is well published. But in my opinion this is his most valuable book, where he reveals the little and also the big things we can do to be rid of chronic problems while ending up experiencing ourselves strongly as One with all Being, One with the Universe.

5. Tantric Buddhism and Altered States of Consciousness - Louise Child 2007

This book explores the role of altered states of consciousness in the communication of social and emotional energies, both on a societal level and between individual persons. Drawing from an original reading of Durkheimian social theorists (including Mauss, Hertz, and Hubert) and Jungian psychology, Louise Child applies this analysis to tantric Buddhist ritual and biographical material. She suggests ways in which dreams and visionary experiences (including those related to the 'subtle body') play an important and previously under-explored role in tantric understandings of the consort relationship.

6. The Tao of Physics AND Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming - stephen le berge 1991

First published in 1975, The Tao of Physics rode the wave of fascination in exotic East Asian philosophies. Decades later, it still stands up to scrutiny, explicating not only Eastern philosophies but also how modern physics forces us into conceptions that have remarkable parallels. Covering over 3,000 years of widely divergent traditions across Asia, Capra can't help but blur lines in his generalizations. But the big picture is enough to see the value in them of experiential knowledge, the limits of objectivity, the absence of foundational matter, the interrelation of all things and events, and the fact that process is primary, not things. Capra finds the same notions in modern physics. Those approaching Eastern thought from a background of Western science will find reliable introductions here to Hinduism, Buddhism, and Taoism and learn how commonalities among these systems of thought can offer a sort of philosophical underpinning for modern science. And those approaching modern physics from a background in Eastern mysticism will find precise yet comprehensible descriptions of a Western science that may reinvigorate a hope in the positive potential of scientific knowledge. Whatever your background, The Tao of Physics is a brilliant essay on the meeting of East and West, and on the invaluable possibilities that such a union promises

8. American Indian Religious Traditions: An Encyclopedia - by Suzanne J. Crawford O'Brien, Dennis Francis Kelley 2005

How is peyote used in Native American religious ceremonies? How do various tribes conduct the rites of birth, adolescence, marriage, and death? What is potlatch and why was its practice forbidden? Readers will learn how religious tradition influences Native American social, political, and material culture and vice versa.

From Booklist
The purpose of these volumes is to compile a "set of articles to define the study of American Indian religious traditions" as they are understood by the people within the communities. More than half of the nearly 100 authors are of Native American descent. The editors felt that it was important to represent the true nature and context of Native religious life, and to that end, they have taken some liberties with the encyclopedia format, making the index in the third volume essential for locating specific information. In some entries, first-person accounts and the citing of Native elders as authoritative sources represent further departures from standard encyclopedia conventions.

In general, content is presented in long entries covering topics broadly rather than in short, dictionary-style treatments. Coverage of topics such as dance, ritual and ceremony, and religious leadership is divided by geographic region (for example, Religious leadership, Alaska; Religious leadership, Great Lakes). Each entry is followed by suggestions for further reading and research. Names and terminologies are given in their original language (Kwakwak'wakw instead of Kwakiutl), but the index helps alleviate confusion. Preceding the entries is a regional survey with maps. A table of contents is repeated at the beginning of each volume, and an appendix at the end of volume 3 lists the 500 tribes recognized by the U.S Bureau of Indian Affairs. The encyclopedia includes a wide variety of black-and-white photos.

Perhaps the only other book covering this topic is the Encyclopedia of Native American Religions (Facts On File, 2000), which is not as academic in its coverage but gives more complete detail on individual rites and persons, making it a good companion volume.

10. African Traditional Religion (World Religions) - By Aloysius Muzzanganda Lugira 2009

The African continent is home to more than 6,000 different ethnic and cultural groups, each with its own religious customs. Yet, these many traditions have common foundations, including an almost universal belief in a Supreme Being, a close interconnection between the sacred and the nonsacred, and a rich oral tradition that passes religious and ethical teachings down through the generations. For centuries, the indigenous religions of Africa were in danger of extinction as other beliefs, primarily Christianity and Islam, threatened to oppress the various sects. Today, a vibrant resurgence of African traditional religion can be encountered everywhere in Africa, and leaders of African religion can openly organize and render spiritual and healing services without hindrances. In a clear and comprehensive manner, "African Traditional Religion, Third Edition" explores the many manifestations of African belief and their expressions, in the past and in the present, as well as the hopes for the future. Coverage includes: the various sects of African religion; effects of the African continent; rituals and beliefs; the arrival of colonists and missionaries; and the spread of African religion to other countries.

11. The 2012 Story: The Myths, Fallacies, and Truth Behind the Most Intriguing Date in History - By John Major Jenkins 2009

On December 21, 2012, the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar, a 5,125- year cycle calendar system pioneered by the Maya, will come to an end. At the same time, the earth, the sun, and the center of the galaxy will come together in an extremely rare cosmic alignment. More and more people believe that the world as we know it will experience a transformation in 2012, but few are aware of the complete history or significance of the date. John Major Jenkins, among the most authoritative voices of the 2012 movement, has written a definitive explanation of one of the most thought-provoking phenomena of our time. Drawing from his own groundbreaking research (including his involvement in the modern reconstruction of Mayan 2012 cosmology) and more than two decades of extensive study of Mayan culture, Jenkins has created the crucial guide to understanding the story of 2012-an essential overview of the history, theory, cultures, and personalities that have brought this extraordinary idea into modern awareness. Jenkins provides illuminating answers to some of the most-asked questions about 2012, including:
- How did the early Maya devise the calendar that gives us the cycle ending in 2012, and how does it work?
- How did the calendar come to be rediscovered and reconstructed in our era?
- What controversies and intrigues surround the topic, and what do scholars and researchers have to say about them?
- How can we cut through all the noise about 2012 and gain true wisdom from the Mayan teachings about this moment?

13. Mystic Cults in Magna Graecia - Giovanni Casadio, Patricia A. Johnston 2009

In Vergil's Aeneid, the poet implies that those who have been initiated into mystery cults enjoy a blessed situation both in life and after death. This collection of essays brings new insight to the study of mystic cults in the ancient world, particularly those that flourished in Magna Graecia (essentially the area of present-day Southern Italy and Sicily).

Implementing a variety of methodologies, the contributors to Mystic Cults in Magna Graecia examine an array of features associated with such "mystery religions" that were concerned with individual salvation through initiation and hidden knowledge rather than civic cults directed toward Olympian deities usually associated with Greek religion. Contributors present contemporary theories of ancient religion, field reports from recent archaeological work, and other frameworks for exploring mystic cults in general and individual deities specifically, with observations about cultural interactions throughout. Topics include Dionysos and Orpheus, the Goddess Cults, Isis in Italy, and Roman Mithras, explored by an international array of scholars including Giulia Sfameni Gasparro ("Aspects of the Cult of Demeter in Magna Graecia") and Alberto Bernabé ("Imago Inferorum Orphica"). The resulting volume illuminates this often misunderstood range of religious phenomena.

15. Enochian Initiation: A Thelemite's Magical Journey into the Ultimate Transcendence - Frater W.I.T 2006

Experience a new reality through wondrous visions of the Enochian angels.
Enochian magick, a system of angelic evocation, is one of the most arcane forms of ceremonial magick in the Western world, and perhaps the single most powerful magical system in all occultism. It was developed by the Elizabethan magician Dr. John Dee who, with the assistance of his seer, Edward Kelly, channeled an angelic language and alphabet that is remarkably effective in opening up the mind to currents of intelligence far beyond the human norm. Whether you are a beginner on your path of study or already an advanced magician, there is something for you in Enochian Initiation. Author Frater W.I.T. shares his own experiences and deeply personal visions, expanding upon and broadening the path toward understanding forged by John Dee, Aleister Crowley, and other great magicians who have come before. By bringing this practice into the modern era, Frater W.I.T. shows how human consciousness can be expanded and examined more closely than with simple meditation, psychoanalysis, or even mind-altering drugs. For those of you who might have hesitated to study Enochian magick because you do not share the same beliefs or convictions of the deeply religious Elizabethans, rest assured that it is possible to achieve the same wondrous results within a neutral spiritual context. Frater W.I.T. has developed a nonreligious spirituality in his conjurations while still using Hebrew and Enochian divine names. Through this book, you too will learn how to develop new techniques and ideas to shape your own magical style and method. An initiate of both the Masonic and Rosicrucian schools of mystery, Frater W.I.T. has spent more than twenty years studying western occult traditions. The purpose of his life's work is to develop new methods of ceremonial magick and explore new vistas of psychic and spiritual potential.

Summary: Beyond And Before The Erotic
Rating: 5

Note from personal experience (the only way to comment): Passing through the seemingly simple sexual plays of The Father, The Son or Daughter, and The Stark Flesh, one may finally attain a sense of lost freedom in a short excursion into self-conscious poetry forced back on itself. However, dropping the issue and/or the book leaves one caught in the cliche of feeling that one understands. This may require a Quixotic reenactment in order to survive this forgetting --- necessarily not only in the world of one's imagination. This transcendence is then achieved again by that fold and feedback of sacrificing to oneself all that one holds dearly and holy --- reason, despair, and perhaps folly. Only in this way can a true confrontation be finally and for the first time attempted and accomplished

18. Everything Is Under Control: Conspiracies, Cults, and Cover-ups - By Robert A. Wilson 1998

Before the X-Files, before alt.conspiracy, there was Robert Anton Wilson and his legendary Illuminatus! Trilogy. Now this avatar of conspiriology, renowned for his razor wit and progressive philosophy, takes you on a fascinating, eclectic ride through what Wilson has termed the "Cultic Twilight" where conspiracy theories flourish.

Everything Is Under Control covers the range of Wilson's kaleidoscopic knowledge, from John Adams to the Voronezh (former Soviet Union) UFO sighting, the Campus Crusade for Cthulhu to the Mothman prophecies, and everything in between. What do the Freemasons, the Kennedys, and Princess Diana have in common? All are at the center of gigantic conspiracy theories with incredibly complex and endlessly multiplying twists, turns, highways and byways. Arranged by alphabetical entries which include cross-references to other entries in the book and also provide addresses to related sites on the Web, this book is truly interactive--you can dip in, read through, or follow one of the URLs from an interesting entry onto the internet.
Robert Anton Wilson is the grand pooh-bah of late-20th-century conspiracy theory, but regular Wilson fans may find Everything Is Under Control inchoate in comparison to such masterworks as the Illuminatus! trilogy. The format may be encyclopedic, but the information isn't; to note one glaring omission, the only entries on Ronald Reagan refer readers to three other entries in which Reagan is briefly mentioned--none of which has anything to do with Iran-Contra. (Actually, there is a listing for Iran-Contra, but again, it merely points to some of the pieces of the puzzle.)

The book's primary value, then, apart from the snippets of conspiracy "proof" it does provide, is in Wilson's playful yet insightful articulation of the psychology and linguistics of conspiratorial thinking. "Because we can say 'the Jews' or 'the New World Order' or 'the Patriarchy,'" he writes, "we can believe, or almost believe, that these grammatical abstractions have the same kind of reality as basketballs, barking dogs, and baked beans." There are also some fun private jokes, including a lot of data on the Discordians. It's not the best Wilson book--that, perhaps, is Masks of the Illuminati--but it's an adequate introduction to his imaginative philosophy. --Ron Hogan

28. An Anarchist View of Globalization

The world's 225 richest people have a combined wealth equal to the combined annual income of the world's 2.5
billion poorest people. A 4 percent levy on their wealth would provide adequate food, safe water and sanitation, basic
education, basic health care and reproductive health care for all those in the developing countries.
In the USA the wealth of the top 1% is greater than that of the bottom 95%. In Mexico 40 people own 30% of the
wealth in that country of 95 million people. The housing crisis in Ireland demonstrates how even during an economic
boom the gains don't go to the working class.
The last 40 years have seen massive economic development and an increase in human knowledge. In the last 50
years man has gone to the moon and sequenced the human genome. But the capitalist system which delivered these
miracles is unable to help the tens of millions who die every year because they lack access to basic medicine and
clean water. According to the UN 2.6 billion people have no access to sanitation, 2 billion have no electricity and 100
million are homeless.
This inequality is fundamental to the way that capitalism works. This is why anarchists have and will continue to be
at the heart of the anti-capitalist protests. But protest is not enough, we want to change the world.
This pamphlet tells you about the global bodies that capitalism has constructed and how we can oppose them.

29. Freemasonry: The worship of Lucifer, SATAN

A majority of this page on Freemasonry was taken from Masonic books tha
were published by Masonic Publishing Companies. Most of these writings
were kept secret. Biblical admonition has been taken carefully, comparing
Masonic teachings to the Holy Bible. In I John 4:1, we read: "Beloved,
believe not every spirit, but try (test) the spirits whether they are of God:
because many false prophets are gone out into the world." We see that any
religious teaching that does not conform to Scripture is from a "false
prophet."
Many people still do not understand the importance of studying this subjec
to its logical conclusion. Their spiritual freedom is at stake. Remember tw
things about Masonry: 1) Superior Masons deliberately lie to their fellow
Masons, as those Masons "deserve to be mislead;" 2) Explanations given to
95% of all Masons are wrong. This quote from Masonic author, Carl Claudy
sums it all up: "Cut through the outer shell and find a meaning; cut throug
that meaning and find another; under it, if you dig deep enough, you may
find a third, a fourth -- who shall say how many teachings?" Many who are
in Masonry are not aware that they are lied to. Finally, remember Albert
Pike's bold assertion in Morals & Dogma, that "Masonry is identical to the
ancient Mysteries," which means that all their teachings in all their books a
precisely the same as the Ancient, Pagan, Satanic Mysteries. [p. 624,
teachings of the 28th Degree]

Of course these top 5% call Jesus Christ an "inferior god," they never, ever
mention Him in their teachings or their rituals. This shouldn't surprise you
since the Pope carries a bent Satanic cross as seen on another page which
shames Christ on the cross.
