This is called "poisoning the well"
The CIA and other very nasty government spook agencies love to put out ridiculous crap like this so they can discredit real research. Sadly, some people actually fall for it. Even more sadly, the tactic is guaranteed to work whether or not the crap is allowed to propagate on sites like this. If it's deleted, they can claim the crap must be true because it's being suppressed!
The growing flat earth phenomenon is another example. Trolling on an industrial scale is occurring because most of the proponents get their kicks from deceiving the gullible. The rest are just useful idiots.
