The word Entheogen literally means "the divine within", but it is the
abstract meaning behind it that should concerns us. The entheogenic journey
begins and ends with intent... and the plant ally which allows that intent
to be fulfilled, even when experience of the practitioner is in its infancy.
In this way, entheogens have aided humanity fulfill that destiny by helping
us reveal to ourselves the hidden world inside and all around us.

This scope of this disc begins with the modern discovery of psychoactive drugs
in the 1950s and 60s, works its way through cultural revolution and prohibition,
up to the rave scene of the 1990 and directly into the archaic revival. Modern
researcher and traditional practitioners relay their experiences with DMT, LSD,
Iboga, Salvia and Psilocybin. The Ancient techniques of shamanism and
initiation give way to the underlying meaning of spiritual death and rebirth.

Researchers include Rick Strassman, Stan Grof, Albert Hoffman, Jonathan Ott,
Terence McKenna, James Arthur, Daniel Siebert, Graham Hancock, and others.
Subjects include psychoactive assisted therapy, shamanism, mental illness and
