For instance, on pg. 64, the author states that the purpose of the Gulf War was to unite the world against a common enemy in a push toward a global government. This happened under George H. W. Bush. Now, George W. Bush is involved in a similar scheme. This time the common enemy is terrorism. Note that on that same page, the author wonders how the destruction of NYC might occur, and sites economic devastation and an act of terrorism as possibilities. This is prophetic, considering that this book was published in 1992. He also cites Rev. 17 and 18 before the destruction of the World Trade Center, while these passages of the Bible are being cited after the fact.
