Dopecast #303 12 February 2012
:cigar:
On this week's episode of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast, the Dopefiend is joined again by the notorious British cannabis producer and author of the best-selling Cannabis Cultivation Mel Thomas, aka Mr. Big, who discusses the fallout since last week's Dopecast which exposed the antics of Peter Reynolds, the leader of CLEAR, the Cannabis Law reform Party, who has brought disgrace and shame to the legalisation movement in Britain with his campaign of racism, sexism, homophobia and bullying. The Dopefiend also talks to Mel Thomas about why governments around the world are more willing to accept medical cannabis in the form of the Sativex medication rather than in its natural form, how a global conspiracy has kept cannabis illegal for the best part of a century, the proposed ban on cannabis tourism in the Netherlands, and the future of the cannabis legalisation movement in the United Kingdom. Following a quick toot on his Magic Flight Launch Box portable vaporizer, a musical interlude from DopeTriber Jekcheck, and a mention for the prize draws in which you could bag yourself a brand new portable vaporizer, as well as our beautiful new DopeTribe hoodies which are available now, the Dopefiend welcomes OzTriber Kush King to the Dope Den to talk about his brand new video podcast series, Rollin with Kush King, which launches on the Dopefiend.co.uk Network this Saturday. For this week's Cannabis News, we return to Homer who tells all about the imprisonment of lifelong cannabis campaigner Winston Matthews, how a man's suicide has been blamed on skunk cannabis, and the reulting war of words, and how CLEAR's Derek Williams is backpedalling on Peter Reynolds's misreporting of Britain's new sentencing guidelines. The Dopefiend then takes the reins and tells of how President Obama has again ignored the will of the American people by refusing to answer questions on cannabis policy, the Israeli study that proves the effectiveness of medical cannabis, and the Daily Mail's award-winning fact-twisting and lie-spreading journalistic endeavours. Email mail@dopefiend.co.uk, send us a voicemail, follow @dopefiend and the new Virtual VaporLounge on twitter, and check out the forum.
