Dopecast #302 6 February 2012
:cigar:
On this week's episode of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast, the Dopefiend examines the sad demise of the British cannabis legalisation movement, and how the abhorrent racist and homophobe Peter Reynolds, leader of CLEAR, has succeeded in infiltrating the movement, taking it over, and tearing it asunder. The Dopefiend investigates the origins of the Peter Reynolds story and calls for the UK cannabis community to stand united against this odious man in a bid to salvage what's left of the legalisation movement. Turning to the emails, the Dopefiend returns to the subject of creating a ritual around cannabis use and how this can effect one's enjoyment of the herb. Next, the Dopefiend heads into the VaporLounge and fires up his WISPR vaporizer with some tasty Power Plant and talks about how difficult it is for him to keep up with his aim of making cannabis use more of a ritual and how it's his memories of smoking joints and listening to Jimi Hendrix in his student days that help him to turn away from the TV! Following a musical interlude from DopeTribe Dispatcher Dreckly, the Dopefiend draws the latest winner of a brand new WISPR portable vaporizer in our prize draw in support of IoliteKnight's bid to get to Dopestock, then introduces Homer the Stoner who talks us through some recent Cannabis News, including the story of a mother and daughter sentenced to 20 month's prison for cannabis cultivation, and an overview of the UK's new sentencing guidelines for drug offences, which may mean lesser sentences for small time growers and medicinal users, but DOES NOT mean that cannabis cultivation has been decriminalised, whatever Peter Reynolds of CLEAR may claim! Finally the Dopefiend tells the story of how Demi Moore was hospitalized following a Spice-induced whitey of Squidgian proportions!
